Could be Alpha Tauri tooSeems I completely forgot about Altair, which has not yet been used as a GPU codename by AMD, so that could be AT too.
So far I have Altair, Antares and Amethyst as possible codenames.
Anyone else want to chime in?
That's Aldebaran.Could be Alpha Tauri too
Sirius is more likely MI500.@Kepler_L2 So is Sirius looking like the codename for CDNA5/GFX1250 now then?
If I understood correctly, CDNA is no more and the next compute platform will be RDNAx.@Kepler_L2 So is Sirius looking like the codename for CDNA5/GFX1250 now then?
Oh no the shader cores are still entirely distinct.CDNA is no more and the next compute platform will be RDNAx.
CONFIRMED — Speculation no more !!
MAGNUS is the replacement to ARDEN
Not too different from now, RDNA2/3 are still on sale.So if AT2 is shared between 10070xt & xbox next then it could have a really long shelf life 🤔
Yeah the pro could be released after 4 years with RDNA 6/7Not too different from now, RDNA2/3 are still on sale.
Plus if Xbox is just using dGPU GCDs they can release a new console every 2 years
Not quite so trivial as that.Plus if Xbox is just using dGPU GCDs they can release a new console every 2 years
whatAMD might as well replace the 192 bit 72 CU AT2 in magnus with a 128 bit 48 CU AT3 & call it a day
It would be very easy for AMD to make a "mini-magnus" with AT3 instead of AT2what
Strix-halo and Medusa-halo are contingent on piles of LPDDR.It would be very easy for AMD to make a "mini-magnus" with AT3 instead of AT2
but instead of being a semi-custom APU like it's big brother, this could act as the successor to strix halo (with exclusion of tablets/laptops)
Lpddr is only needed for laptops & tablets right ?Strix-halo and Medusa-halo are contingent on piles of LPDDR.
It's needed everywhere you need bandwidth and capacity.Lpddr is only needed for laptops & tablets right ?

Medusa-Halo still exists in their roadmaps?Strix-halo and Medusa-halo are contingent on piles of LPDDR.
It'll just become a windows PC.
Plus -By using a more limited hw spec game devs can optimise performance in pre compiled shaders and assets tailored to fit.
AT1, AT2, AT3 like chips was the initial roadmap leaked long agoThe chart MLID showed must be quite old at this point I presume? What are the odds that AMD decided to play it safe again and go for AT1 and AT3 aka the logical successors for Navi 48 and 44?
