Like what Harry Reid did with the nuclear option?
Which came about because republicans were breaking filibuster norms. Republicans were already using the filibuster at unprecedented rates when they stated their intention to filibuster every nominee Obama brought forward. How can a government function like that?

He did that option because of what Mitch was doing to stall court nominations. He did not do it for the Supreme Court, Republicons did. It is interesting that folks think this is okay given that one team tried to overcome the obstructionists behavior. Instead of seeing if Democrats would obstruct, they just did it.

It’s like in tennis. If one guy uses a racket that is slightly bigger than everyone, then the next guy uses one sooo big they have a major advantage. Instead of accepting responsibility, they say the famous childhood thing that never worked, “...but he did it first.”

Grow up.

Make it so whomever controls the Senate alone controls nominations.
Make it so with gerry mandering that your party can rule the Senate with a ~70/30 minority rule.

I called this one:

I wonder what Trump offered him to change his mind...
He didn't have to offer anything.

You shouldn't trust a Never-Trump Republican. You shouldn't trust a "Moderate" Republican. You shouldn't trust a "Compassionate Conservative" Republican. You shouldn't trust a "Libertarian" Republican. You shouldn't trust "Lincoln Project" Republicans.

Republicans are all liars, and are only in it for the money and power. They have no ethics, moral, principles or loyalty to anything, except money and power.

To believe otherwise is a personal lapse in judgement that was last made honestly 25+ years ago. To do so now is just willful negligence.

No shit. Did you really think that’s what he meant?

hyperbole
noun
hy-per-bo-le
Exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.

Well this is exactly what he said, allow me to quote. Please note the bolded and underlined part where he said "Every Trump Supporter". I have no reason to think that isn't what he meant.

" Found what every Trump supporter thinks today in the Home Depot parking lot:"

So you either don’t understand hyperbole, despite being given the definition, or you really believed he really thinks he knows what every trump supporter thinks.

Are you sure you want to die on this hill? That’s an expression btw, I don’t want you taking it literally. /eye roll

I do understand hyperbole...
It was a stupid comment, I just pointed it out.

As when I make a statement such as he did you would be one of the ringleaders pointing out how stupid you think it is.

What happened was Romney realized that Trump's nominee list mirrored Romney's own nominee list. Remember who Mitt Romney is and how religion is everything to Mitt Romney. Mitt couldn't be happier with the possibility of Amy Coney Barrett on the high court. Just look into her eyes, the eyes of total religious insanity. Just imagine this flaming haired demon deciding laws that affect YOU.

Geek has shown quite a few times that languaging is hard for him, which causes him pain, so it's something he projects onto others.

Are you being literal, cuz that's not what he said. Are you using hyperbole? What a stupid comment.

And she is a religious nutter, no question about it. Look it up.

It is called sarcasm. Your meter broken?

Sportage called her a demon. I made fun of him with sarcasm. Having issues with your languaging? LOL

She has the freedom of religion. She doesn't have to meet your standard.

Haha, you're a joke old man. Satan is just a fallen angel there brainiac, not a demon. Sure, she has freedom of religion, and we have motivations to keep religious nutters out of powerful positions. Maybe brush up on human history, and even modern events. But, modern christians are very much not christ like, and want their theocracy back.

It wasn’t an insult, just an observation. You are well within your rights to have limited capacity for understanding and reflection. This is America after all!

Right... If you're going to insult someone you should at least be man enough to own it.
