They won’t push it through by Nov 3 but you damn better believe they will push it through in December in a lame duck session. They push it through before the election you are looking at a possible 60 seat democratic majority. Instead they will wait lose the senate and then pass it in a lame duck session.
 
Maybe if they do try to push it through they will pick a moderate both sides can agree on.

I myself would prefer a true strict constitutionalist but we all know that the parties don't want that. They want the SC to legislate, shame.....
 
Fair play to her for working and fighting as hard as she did for as long as she did. Unfortunately this just means this administration is going to have an even bigger detrimental impact on the judiciary. It's incredible just how much influence the combination of good luck and unethical behavior has given the Republicans in the last few decades.

if dems have a supermajority, let them add another justice, then pack the damn court.

yeah, it's like they were never paying attention for the last 12 years.

Anyway, this seat will probably remain open. It's the only thing Trump has to platform on now, and it will be a yuge swing in his favor. The people will be happy enough to eat shit again, if they can get their jesus freak on the court.
