many fish are caught by trolling

coincidence?

I think not! ^_^

Trolling (fishing)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish, are drawn through the water. This may be behind a moving boat, or by slowly winding the line in when fishing from a static position, or even sweeping the line from side-to-side, e.g. when fishing from a jetty. Trolling is used to catch pelagic fish such as salmon, mackerel and kingfish.

Trolling can be phonetically confused with trawling, a different method of fishing where a net (trawl) is drawn through the water instead of lines. Trolling is used both for recreational and commercial fishing whereas trawling is used mainly for commercial fishing.

Trolling from a moving boat involves moving quite slowly through the water. This can be accomplished with the use of a special trolling motor. Multiple lines are often used, and outriggers can be used to spread the lines more widely and reduce their chances of tangling. Downriggers can also be used to keep the lures or baits trailing at a desired depth.

I love me some RAW tuna, very succulent. The taste and texture are something you'll never experience with 'cooked' food.

I love it when it has been seared with crushed peppercorns first, before getting sliced up.

So, when you go to church every Sunday, how much time do you spend confessing about being an obnoxious, judgemental asshole on the internet?

I THINK SO!

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/many

1: consisting of or amounting to a large but indefinite number <worked for many years>

2: being one of a large but indefinite number <many a man> <many another student>

Given the number of recreational fishing and commercial fishing that use trolling I think that HCR's statement that many fish are caught by trolling could be deemed accurate.

Think I'm going to visit an oyster bar after work then go and have sushi afterwards.

LOVE raw oysters.

Unfortunately, not so much the sushi. I used to absolutey love it... until I got a bad roll and got horrible food poisoning. Now the smell makes me nauseous. :(

We were born on the same day Cave. I would hope that you reconsider eating raw fish and oysters, for safety's sake.

How do you feel about cooked fish?

Sorry to hear about that. Everyone thought I was crazy by suggesting that eating raw fish was risky. I hope they heed your warning!

It was more likely from the rice or other vegetables put into it, or an unclean knife used to cut everything (chef probably didn't wash his hands after a #2).

I traveled extensively throughout Mexico back in the late 70's. Tacos were sold everywhere. They're street vendor type food.
