Not necessarily. Depends on if it is a TBred or Pally.

Not all 1700 Tbreds OC well. There is one good one that will OC like crazy. Apparently they are rebagded XP2700s or something like that.

TBred B>TBred A, but once again overclocking is dependant on more than just your CPU. My TBred A (1700+) is running at 1921MHz with the PC2400 being the bottleneck.

i just had the really really bad idea of making a site that would allow you to select components, and at the end, project your virtual penis size...

I have upgraded overtime, started out with slow ram, never had the money to upgrade the ram. I'll be upgrading to Cosair XMS 3200 in the future.

Home Ed is just user friendly to the point it practically molests you.

I gave you a "B" . Even though not top of the line, still will get you good marks in games and is perfectly sound for all purpose tasks.

Compared to other Rigs that are on this site however, it is a C. Needs to have a bus of 333 MHz or higher to come close to other AMD systems in the compared B range.

forgot the Antec Sonata with front Vantec 120mm variable fan. Also thinking about modding so i can put an 80mm fan upfront. Dunno yet.

well, i recycled my monitor and two hdds and CDRW. also still run my TBSC, but i think imma stick to soundstorm and see what the hype is about so ..

Video card + dvd burner
Case + floopy
----- 830USD

160 = 100USD
200 =120 USD

total =( 1020USD .. a bit over the 900 cap i wanted to spend.

i want to get a nice flat panel .. waiting on a nice 19 incher that's good for games. that comes in feburary. =D

computer is for .. media encoding, gaming and college stuff.
