Trump has this in the bag.
I AM NOT a Trump supporter, but the Clinton's gave us NAFTA and welfare reform that killed middle class jobs and hurt single mothers. Hillary was absolutely a big part of that fiasco.

GW Bush gave us 9/11 by missing all the signs, then killed 3000+ American troops with war. And since, has enabled ISIS.
GW, his gift just keeps on giving and giving.

And Hillary went along with that GW - Cheney war.
One could say as Hillary says, she was fooled. But really? Hillary "could have" done her homework first then voted against the war. But no... She was lazy. Hillary just "went along" with the other lazy crowd and green lighted that GW war.

So, considering all of this and all of that, who's to say Donald Trump would be any better or any worse?
I mean, the bar has been set very low for Donald trump to overcome.
And too, the odds are on Trump's side.

Add to all of that reasoning, now Donald Trump promises THE BIGGEST nomination party in history at the GOP convention. EVERYONE will want in on that event.
And after the convention celebration, Trump will promise an even BIGGER election party once he is elected.
Who in their right mind would want to miss out on that?

For Sanders supporters, for Hillary Supporters, it no longer matters who wins the DNC nomination.
Trump will squash whomever he goes up against. Even if that is Bernie.

The republican party has eaten their dish of crow, the media has eaten their dish of crow.
Soon, the pro-Hillary anti-Trump electorate will have their plate of crow served up as well.

Trump IS going to win. And he will win HUGE.
And not only will the house and senate not turn back to the democrats, the house and senate will bust open with republican gains.
Thus easily enabling Trump's entire agenda.

Trump will win HUGE.
At this point it doesn't matter if its Sanders or Hillary or even a Hillary/Sanders ticket.
THEY WILL LOSE!

Yes, I am for Hillary but I am not delusional.
I see the writing on the wall.
And the writing spells president DOALD TRUMP in big bold lettering.

Plus, I don't like crow per se, so I will join the Trump victory party and eat cake. ;)

Quoted for the November LOLs.

No wai.... Senator Clinton is more electable!

The establishment pundits told me so.....

meanwhile

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4gEtBVvmUk

But it's Faux News so they must be lying right?

Things are looking a lot closer than I thought. North Carolina is also fairly close, although there's a definite appearance of systemic bias varying between pollsters:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/nc/north_carolina_trump_vs_clinton-5538.html

If Trump gets all of the canonical red states, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina he'll get 273 electoral votes and win the election.

On the other hand, we could see some non-swing states flip this time. Utah for instance may go D:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ut/utah_trump_vs_clinton-5834.html

Arizona is another possible flip:

http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/2016-arizona-president-trump-vs-clinton

And Missouri:

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/polls/274920-poll-clinton-leads-trump-in-missouri

Even one of the deep south states with a very large black minority population could plausibly flip. Mississippi is close:

I think the Rust belt is going red this time as they remember NAFTA. But heavy Latino states will favor dems as they'll remember crime, drugs, rapists comments which is why I think Texas could flip too, it's got 43% latinos and for a state of 20+ mil, only 8-9 mil tend to vote which lines up with immigrants not voting unless threatened.

Either way it's going to be one crazy electoral map and it may very well be that Trump gets more votes but loses the electoral college since his votes will come from all white states so he might carry them by 80%.

43% latinos in Texas sounds high, says 32% here: http://www.texas.com/demographics.html That might be the difference between counting white hispanics and not..

You could be right though, Texas doesn't like Trump that much and the hispanic vote is probably a big factor in that. But Cruz got a lot more votes than Hillary did and I don't really see more than a small number of them moving to her either.

Flipping Texas would be pretty huge, it's hard to see a Republican path to victory without Texas.

The likely hood is higher that California would flip, than Texas. Neither will be happening in this lifetime.

Trump has continued to do what they say he wouldn't and couldn't do. Now he's the presumptive nominee, soon to be the nominee. I won't be surprised if he does the unthinkable and beats Hillary too. Hillary loses to Trump. Bernie would give him a good run and probably beat him.

Hillary's baggage is going to grind her down, the longer the race goes.

I'm extremely distressed to say that after the Quinnipiac poll then the Reuters poll showing Trump closing the gap with Senator Clinton you might very well be correct.

I think most in this forum know where I stand on the issues and how the Supreme Court should move in the next 15 years. I will vote accordingly.

This has not been a primary election where conventional establishment wisdom has won out. I feel the political parties ignore that at their peril and so do people posting in this thread.

Something is being missed here.
The republican party is becoming Trump. And I suspect the two have always been as one.
Trump is becoming the republican party.
Trump's anti women, anti Muslim, anti Hispanic ideology is the republican party.
The republican party's anti women, anti Muslim, anti Hispanic ideology is Donald trump.
Republicans, you can run but you can't hide.
You are as one. Trump is the party, and the party is Trump
And probably always have been.

And you can take that even further....
If the agenda of the republican establishment is to privatize the VA, then that too is Donald Trump's agenda.
If the republican agenda is to punish women by refusing equal pay legislation, that is Donald Trump's agenda.
If building a wall and deporting millions of Hispanics is Donald Trump's agenda, then that too is the republican party agenda.
If reversing Roe v Wade and banning all abortion is the republican agenda, that too is Donald Trump's agenda.
If banning Muslim's from entering the US is Donald Trump's agenda, that as well is the republican party agenda.
If privatizing social security the republican party agenda, that is Donald Trump's agenda.
In short, by embracing Donald Trump the republican party becomes Donald Trump.
And vise versa.

But again, I suspect Donald Trump and the republican party have all along been as one.
They have always shared the same agenda at heart and soul.
You can run, but you can't hide.
Republicans, you now own this.
This is what you have become.
Everything Donald Trump is, you have become.

Pretty damn ugly, I'd say....

The likely hood is higher that California would flip, than Texas. Neither will be happening in this lifetime.

Texas has been projected to go purple within the next 2 or 3 major election cycles and quite possibly full-on blue within 4 cycles.

Texans like to guffaw and chide the Californians fleeing CA and seeking jobs in their wonderful "free" state, but seem to remain blissfully unaware of the fact that those same people will bring their votes with them. Added to an indigenous hispanic population that has been disenfranchised by the GOP for 2 cycles, this does not bode well for true red cowboys.

This is a major reason why NC became a purpleish state for the 2008 election--Northeastern educated families moving down over the previous decades to work in technology. The GOP insurgency there in 2010 was a far western and far eastern maneuver to turn that state into some utopian stonghold for extreme conservative ideology as a reaction to the state narrowly voting for a black man.

Just ask Art Pope.

Lol, this is the problem. Trump is not anti women, he is anti woman (s). He had problems with some women, not all women. This is the problem with sjws, any attack on a woman is extrapolated to all women. Any attack on a minority or a subset of that minority is an attack on them all. He isnt anti mexican, he is anti open borders unfettered illegal immigration.

You lefties better smarten up about that shit or you're going to lose the election. This sjw isn't playing well with the rest of society. They see mizzou and say "fuck that shit" and it doesn't matter if you are republican or Democrat.

And no bernie won't win. There are far too many wealthy moderate democrats that will see to that. There is no damn way a socialist who would raise the shit out of taxes would vote for him.

A CNN/ORC poll in March found that 73% of registered women voters viewed Trump unfavorably. The trend line for Trump has gone downward in that regard since December, when 59% of registered women voters had a negative view of him.

Yea, just a couple of women, not the vast majority of the female voting population  keep living in that drumpfosphere, breathe deeply of the bronzing spray and enjoy the delusions.

You are conflating trump being anti women with women believing trump is anti woman. The media has crafted a nice story to mislead. On the left to allow hillbilly to beat him and on the right for 16 others to have a chance. You saw the ambush immediately with the first debate.

That isn't surprising that you'd do it considering who you root for. Never mind that he employs a lot of highly paid women.

Ohh, and also the link above which you so conveniently sidestepped.

there far too busy playing the 'woman-card' with blood coming out of their wherever, and well "You know, it really doesn't matter what they write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass. But she's got to be young and beautiful."
