I've listened to classic rock on WNCX (98.5) since the late eighties, only 10 or 15 years after rock's hey day. Don't any stations play "classic rap" now?

My local classic rock station KZEP 104.5

Only station I listen to. And I love that Alice Cooper hosts nights on KZEP. He's awesome. And they stream the station online too, which is great.

Bookmarked, Alice Cooper, ftw!

back OT: i don't really like much rap, but I'll listen to anything at least once.

this should cover quite a bit of spectrum of old/new.

and if you want to get technical, you can throw stuff like fugazi up there too.

once again kids, lets try and not be brainwashed by mtv >.<

Go listen to DMX - Hows it going to be. Its better than all that CRAP.

Kanye West - Touch the Sky?

I can't believe some people. Calling ALL rap crap is just trolling its so popular these days and so prevalent obviously its popular with people from all ethnic backgrounds. It wouldn't be played if it wasn't.

Qft!1!

Are you people stupid? Yeah, of course main stream rap sucks. So does main stream rock (eg U2), pop, R&B, emo, punk, etc. Just because you haven't heard good rap doesn't mean it doesn't exist, any more than it means that good rock doesn't exist.

Rap sucked since roughly 1991. As soon as it stopped being fun party music and became gangsta, drugz, gunz, rape women music well, see shark jump.
