So this morning my 2 year old decides to sleep in. She usually gets up at 7am, has breakfast and my wife takes her to daycare. This isn't the case this morning. She wakes up at 8am and my wife has a meeting right at 8:30am. I tell my wife to go and I'll handle it. This is cool because I do my 40 hours on the weekends.
I get to the daycare around 9am. It's a perfect morning so far. My daughter doesn't put up a fuss when I leave and it's a sunny day out. So I press my luck and go through the drive-thru at Burger King to get some breakfast. It's a simple order;
One Croissant with egg and sausage
Large Potato Rounds
Large unsweetened Iced Tea
I checked and verified the order on the little screen also.
No one in line. Not very busy. Only one other car in front of me.
I pay for my meal and look inside. I've got a regular size potato rounds and those dipsticks. Oh, and to top it all off, she hands me a regular sized ice tea.
I look at her and tell her that she screwed up my order. She yells and says that she didn't. I explain to her what I ordered. She gets all bitchy to me and plays the race card.
Ohhhh, wrong move missy.
I tell her that I'm going to park my car in the parking lot and that I'll be coming in to talk to her manager. So I do this and as I'm walking up to the store the manager comes running out and forbids me to enter. I'm perplexed. So I ask why. The manager says that, according to his drive-thru check out person, that I threatened to come in and "do some talkin." Which is exactly what I was going to do, except I guess "do some talkin" means "come in and kick her ass". So I explain to the manager that all I said was that I wanted to come inside and talk to you, the manager about her attitude. He says that he sympathizes but cannot allow me to come in right now. He says that she's very upset. I tell him that what her hormones and emotions are doing to her right now is of no concern, that I want my order done right "because I want to have it done MY way". He says he has the right to refuse any customer. Realizing that, as of this moment I've lost any chance of me getting my order, I tell him that all I want is my money back, which he gives to me out of his own wallet.

I think this is God's way of saying, "Buddy, time to shed some extra lbs."
