You know what really sucks about Taco Bell drive thru's?

Freaking wrong items and missing items. I had to go to drivethru, because inside was already closed. They forgot to give me my drink and they gave me regular's when I paid for supreme Taco's and I got charged for drink and supreme price :|

I'd NEVER NEVER NEVER use drivethru unless inside is closed, because it doesn't give me the time to verify each single item. I don't trust those behind the drivethru window. I am going to b!tch at them next time I'm there and demand a reimbursement. When I get something from inside, I open up every piece of food and verify that they got my order correctly. This is a must, because when I make a custom order, there is about 50% disregarded the special order.

So many of those freaking workers in the back don't understand worth of English(Spanish speaking Mexicans), yet get the same wage as someone who can communicate properly such as students who work there part time. The minimum wage should be lower and only those really suck at job should be paid the new minimum wage and someone who knows what the hell they're doing should be paid the current minimum wage or a bit more.

I accept the fact every fast food joints makes mistakes here and there, but this Taco Bell mess up practically all my special orders and about 1/3 to 1/2 of regular orders. I use this Taco Bell often enough for it to be a bother.

That's nothing. I spilled hot sause in my lap and got third degree burns. You can see where they've turned red. I hope soon to own Taco Bell.

I have never had many messed up orders at Taco Bell. Now at McDonald's or Burger King? Yes.

The only fast food I eat anymore is Arby's, Taco Bell, or Wendy's.

I've learned to accept not getting what I order at Taco Bell. As long as they give me a couple packets of the green sauce everything's copacetic. They tend to keep that stuff under lock and key.

You're not one of those annoying people that customize orders at a fast food joint are you?

They're located at Taco Bell?

Every drive through does this.

Yeah, them fvcking up the order isn't uncommon at any fast food place. But, before you go start yellnig at the people at the drive-thru, think about it for a minute: Is the person you're yelling at the same person that messed up your order the other day? Probably not. Can they do anything about it? no. If you want you're order fixed, go inside and ask to talk to the manager.

So many of those freaking workers in the back don't understand worth of English(Spanish speaking Mexicans)
you know, there are Spanish speaking Americans, too.

...yet get the same wage as someone who can communicate properly such as students who work there part time.
They get minimum wage because they do a job that requires no skills, same as everyone else with jobs that requie no skills. You really don't need to speak english to make a crappy taco.

The minimum wage should be lower
You've never worked a day in your life. When you've been at work for 10 hours and barely made $50, and you're tired and dirty, and you have to go to sleep so you can get up at 6:00AM the next morning to do it again, otherwise you won't be able to pay your rent, THEN you can complain. hell, you can complain after you bus table 3 nights a week for a few months. Until then, you can take your "holier than thou cause my parents are rich" and shove it up your ass cause almost everyone here appreciates the value of hard work more than you do.

...and only those really suck at job should be paid the new minimum wage and someone who knows what the hell they're doing should be paid the current minimum wage or a bit more.

Why the hell do you get any say in what Taco bell employees get paid? Are your parents stockholders?

That's true, but this one Taco Bell sucks day or night. The back crews doesn't freaking understand what they've been ordered to make. Hell one time they gave me a Hard Taco when I ordered a double decker. Other Taco Bells only messes up ocassionally, but this one messes up about every two or three times and almost everytime when I customize my food. I am going to call 1-800-TACOBELL and the manager on Monday and b!tch and emphasize this particluar Taco Bell location disproportionately sucks compared to other Taco Bells I've been to.

What prevents them from firing these workers who can't communicate worth a sh!t whenever next applicants are available?

Jerboy, I check my order at every drive thru, reguardless of the the spot, be it McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell etc. I didn't vote in your poll, cause I think it's slanted, I'm not going to call a fast food employee a "pig." At least they are willing to work for a paycheck unlike some people who siphon off the government.

check your order before you leave the site of taco bell. if your order is hosed, tell then right there. i had to do that myself due to a local tacobell screwing things up often. and if you call the tacobell hotline, they will more then likely give you some coupons for free items.

One time, when I worked at McDonalds, we were really busy and very short handed. Everyone had to do like 3 jobs. This customer complained that it took 4 minutes to get his food, and his drink had condensation on it. I replaced the drink, and then he said that there wasn't enough ketchup on his burger (he got the normal amount, we just used a dispenser). I had other customers to tend to, and he started cussing at me, so I grabbed an application, slammed it on the counter, and told him that since he could do better, I'd see him monday and he could make the damn food and run the register.

He never showed up that Monday....

Jerboy will learn the value of a good day's work eventually. One day no one will take care of him anymore. Sorry princess, them's the breaks. :)

That wasn't the case here. There was only two cars at the drivethru. Your comments still doesn't explain why this Taco Bell piss me off than other Taco Bells I know. If verbal communication was part of the job, someone who can't comprehend worth a sh!t clearly shouldn't be working there. Hopefully they'll get fired after getting enough complaints.

Did they repeat your order to you correctly? Clearly? What did the reciept say?
I am going to b!tch at them next time I'm there and demand a reimbursement.

If you want to complain, bring your reciept and talk to a manager or an assistant manager. Chances are that the employee there next time isn't the same one, and won't appreciate (or deserve) your complaint. Even if it is the same one, they'll just refer you to the manager.

So many of those freaking workers in the back don't understand worth of English(Spanish speaking Mexicans),

Yeah, why can't they use English as well as you do? You seem to "understand worth of English" very well.

Different people work at different places, and maybe this one has more careless employees. Maybe you're full of it. Could be either one.

Hopefully they'll get fired after getting enough complaints.

Yeah, and if you can sleep at night after getting a minimum wage worker fired, someone who works ten hours a day just to get by, then you are just an evil person.

Have you ever had to work 90 hours a week to pay the bills? Have you ever had to sell your posessions just for food? Have you ever had to wake up to your watch because the power got cut off, because no matter how many hours you worked, it wasn't enough? If not, then shut up.

I deal with house wives driving SUV's that are 4x too big for them weilding cell phones with horrible ringers on them and who order the most bizarre kinds of coffee with extra options all day, and I am shocked by your post.

Congrats.

Oh, and as to your comment on those who don't speak English: Walk a mile in their shoes, try to provide for yourself in a foreign country, work in a horrid place like taco bell all day dealing with whiney suburban warriors like yourself all day, and then you can complain. Until then, try finding something that doesn't piss you off. They should get payed less? You make me sick.

They didn't repeat. As I already said, I was charged for Supreme Tacos and a drink and receipt clearly says so.

If you want to complain, bring your reciept and talk to a manager or an assistant manager.
Ofcourse I will. I'd much rather have a word with the manager than some employee who doesn't know how to handle the situation.

Chances are that the employee there next time isn't the same one, and won't appreciate (or deserve) your complaint.
I don't normally complain to unrelated employees. When you work for a company you represent the company to a certain extent and you have a share fo responsibility as well.

Different people work at different places, and maybe this one has more careless employees.
If there are new applicants for the positions currently held by careless employees, give the new applicants the job. If you're careless, you get fired. If someone else is more efficient, they will displace you. I thought this is how capitalism worked?

Maybe you're full of it.

If I was full of it, chances are I'd feel the same about all Taco Bells.

Yeah, and if you can sleep at night after getting a minimum wage worker fired

I don't know for sure if I got anyone fired, but I might have contributed. When I caught a McDonald employee leaving from urinal and returning to working without washing his hands, I confronted him in front of everyone. I later griped at his manager and dept of health(they probably called the manager too). I haven't ever seen that kid again at that McDonald, so he must have been fired. If he doesn't have enough respect for the store's customers and not wash his hands, doesn't he deserve to be removed from the store?

someone who works ten hours a day just to get by, then you are just an evil person.

How do I know they didn't put themselve in that boat? There are too many people who choose to drop out of high school because of pregnancy, lack of interest and never finish with proper education Some might have too many criminal records. Last time I checked, drop out rate in ghetto schools is quite high.

Have you ever had to work 90 hours a week to pay the bills?
nope :)

Have you ever had to sell your posessions just for food?

I'm not sure. I might have sold a pencil or two in middle school so I can get a bag of chips.

Have you ever had to wake up to your watch because the power got cut off, because no matter how many hours you worked, it wasn't enough?

nope
