Buffalo chicken is $1.99 for a 6" sub. I ordered 2 so they used a whole loaf of bread. The person making the sandwich didn't cut it in half.
The idiot at the cash register (who I think was the manager) tried to charge me $6. I told him i thought it was $1.99 for a 6" and he said it's $6 for a footlong. I told him to cut my sandwich in half. He charged me $4. then when i asked for the coupon, he rolled his eyes as he was getting it.
In fact, as I'm writing this, I think I'll write a complaint letter to Subway corporate.
HAHAHAH hilarious

How/Why the hell are they making 2x6" cheaper than 1x12"?

it's a special.. $1.99 for a 6". no idea why in the world they thought they could get away with "you have a foot long so it';s $6" routine.
but since this promotion has been going on for a month, it means that they got away with it with others and charged them $6 when they ordered 2 6" sandwiches and wasnt cut in half and placed in 2 separate bags.: disgust
yeah, they put my sandwich in 2 separate bags, so it costs them even more (besides the time it took them to cut, rewrap) because of the 2nd bag and the napkins in the bag.
Jedi mind trick I assume. "No, that's not a 12" sub. It's two six inchers...."
pure genious

You are lucky the person actually spoke in a language you could understand.
Well Sasha, I'm not sure what race you are making fun of, as I live in NY and every Subway I go to has different people w/ different nationalities & accents, but you do know that the webmaster/owner of AT isn't a "white-American" w/ blond hair and blue eyes right?![]()
This is why everyone loves Zim.
I'm not sure how to take that LeadFrog![]()

I hate subway. I had to go to one to get some gift certificates for my dad for xmas (he eats there all the time).
They don't accept anything but cash for the certificates, but they'll accept credit/debit cards for the food.
some people pay with stolen cards or whatever. certificate stays active, but subway would lose the money.
