Well not really a rant, but I go to a high school in California. I'm a senior, and during my last year, my school decides to go crazy about everything.
I get to school and I learn that to go to the bathroom, you have to wear a vest, and I'm talking about a full blown construction vest, the one that is reflective. This thing is reflective and it has the room that you came from and if you are caught not wearing it fully; guess what, detention, on the spot.
Another thing, at school, we used to have soda and candy, I mean that's cool right. Well this year, my school, or my school district, decides to ban soda and candy. Why? Because we aren't healthy. Who thinks that it's fair to punish the students that do work out and are not obese. I mean punish those that are having problems, don't put those problems on others.
Lastly, we have drug dogs. Two of them. They walk around and search around the school looking for drugs. God. It's so frustrating. Why punish those that don't do that kind of stuff, i.e. graffiti the bathrooms, obesity, and use drugs? Why? Is that necessary?
