are you a CE or any type of engineering major?
Pre engineering in general/industrial & manufacturing
Ahh...you go to OSU. The combination of your MTH 112 test grade and your stated major lead me to believe that your actual major is pre-business. I'd put money on this.
OMG! Rofl!
I'm not doing too hot in math either though. I'm going into my MATH 2200 (Calc 1) final with a 40 something average.I hate math.....maybe I shouldn't be a physics major.

so what is your grade after the curve?
We don't do curves here.
Wow, is there really that much math in CS? I declared CS as my major at Ole Miss, and I only had to take through Calc 5.Originally posted by: Darien
The only people that are more familiar with theoretical math than physics majors are:
math majors
cs majors
you need to be good at it...otherwise you'll be screwed in physics.

Maybe try MIS?Originally posted by: SithSolo1
Uh dur...I was a CS major before I was a physics major and it's gone down hill from there. I love computers but I hate programming more than Calculus.

I got a 31% on one of my tests. Curved to around a B+. I was happy. This was in the EE dept in case any of you are wondering.

How does the curve work? If the highest grade is a 50%, then that becomes 100%? So a 40% would be an 80?
So if someone does extracredit and gets a 125%, your B might become a C?Originally posted by: johnjbruin
Its more like the top 30% get A's, middle 30% get B's, the other 30% below that get C's, and the rest of the 10% get D's or fail.
