In what was an Obvious speed trap, my wife received her second speeding ticket in as many months since we moved to Florida. This time though, it was rather absurd.
It was an obvious speed trap, motorcycle cops were pulling folks over 4 cars at a time. Thing is, we were definitely within the margin of error, or so we thought. The officer stated we were doing 13 miles over the posted limit of 55, which would put us doing 68mph. Apparently we were clocked with a laser.
Now, this is kindof odd, because this was on I-4 in Orlando, just about downtown Orlando, at 8:15am (primetime rushhour), at the point were traffic was just about heavy enough to drop folks under the limit. For those of you that know the area, I-4 east about 1/4mile before the John Young exit. Basically - it isn't POSSIBLE to speed at this point. At best, we were doing about 60.
DAMN BASTAGES!
