A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend's parents had two electricians working at their house. Her mom had to leave the house for a couple of hours, and while she was gone one of the electricians left to get lunch for the two of them. During this time, the other one decided to get on their computer and surf porn sites. As if it wasn't bad enough that the guy is jerking off in someone else's house, he left their computer infested with spyware (that's how they found out about it, they kept getting porn popups). So I ran Adaware for them, found about 500 objects. The computer was still acting funny, so I ran AVG and found 24 viruses. I thought everything was working fine after that, but now she calls and says she's still having problems with it (IE not working right). As a last resort I'll probably install ZoneAlarm, but her mom really doesn't know enough about computers to know what programs to allow access to the Internet and which programs to deny access.
It really pisses me off that this guy would do this stuff on someone else's computer. Is there anything they can do about it, legally? They called the company the guy works for, and they don't seem to care to do anything about it.
