Yes it IS funny but it's also SAD and INSULTING to both HETEROSEXUAL MEN and WOMEN !!!

someone sounds bitter

It's just upsetting to see stupidity rewarded in our culture. We should be moving forward, yet we're moving backward instead.

i've been accused of being a metrosexual. but rest assured i don't own any hair products. a straightedge razor, shaving cream, a toothbrush, bar of soap. that's all. i just tend to dress better than the camaro driving mullet heads this hairy-twatted woman is after.

I'm not so sure I believe her twat really is hairy, tho. I sort of wonder how much of the article is real, and how much is exaggerated to make it "funny". She doesn't look like she's have a hairy twat from the picture.

The problem is you really can't tell until you see it Jim :)

That's not the future. A bunch of homosexuals aren't exactly qualified to give advice to straight guys. I know you're an opinionated, vocal bunch, but what you're saying is as ridiculous as it's always been.

I'm not trying to give you advice, I'm just saying I think you're a neanderthal a$$hole. :)

So far in this thread the main resistance I got was not from people considered metrosexuals, it has been from homosexuals. Call me insensitive, but I really can't take your opinion seriously. I'm not looking for better ways to act gay, sorry. If a guy takes your fashion advice, they're going to be very successful at picking up gay guys.

Often gay people have been ridiculed by a$$holes like you for not meeting your (or society's) stereotypical or cliched notions of masculinity or femininity. I've always found people like you to be deeply pathetic. Your need to put down other people for not meeting your definition of manhood or femalehood is revolting.

It's ok if you feel that way. I've already said my piece.

Girls don't like metrosexuals. I heard a guy ask a girl if she liked guys who went to the spa and did their nails and stuff, and she made a face and said "no way!" Most girls I know feel similarly. They want a guy who isn't a barbarian, but acts like a guy.

It's no different than most guys NOT wanting a girl who acts like a man (suck it, radical feminists).

That's ok. A majority of people finds your lifestyle deeply pathetic.

What is my lifestyle, exactly?

I don't dictate national policy. So continue mouthing off and attending pride parades, and the rest of the nation will continue staring at you in disgust.

Ah, the homophobia comes spilling out now. :) I knew it would, people like you - people with rigid, inflexible conceptions of gender roles - are almost always homophobic, in my experience.

Aidan, everyone can see what you're like. I don't need to describe it.

I'll keep my view short and sweet: You're a "rainbow warrior". Very opinionated, very vocal. And since the majority doesn't agree with you, the more you talk the more people don't like you.

I'm simply blown away by the anger and hatred directed towards fashion-conscious men who look after themselves. I just can't believe it.

Why on earth would it upset you when a man chooses to have his eyebrows plucked? Should he continue to ape about, looking unkept because plucking eyebrows is primarily a feminine tradition? Do you become equally enraged when women play baseball, traditionally a man's sport?

Please, explain to me why it bothers you so.

You ignorant, boring, unimportant ticks sit behind your computers and type all kinds of rubbish about the definition of manhood, but I'm willing to bet serious money that there isn't a single one of you "man enough" to spout that shite to my face, should the opportunity arise.

In my experience, the more I talk the more I win people's respect. :) But even if that wasn't the case, it would be OK, because I don't have a strong need for social approval from complete strangers. ;)

You have some sick, twisted need to put down men who aren't exactly like you. Any man who is "metrosexual" or has an interest in clothes, fashion, whatever comes in for your ridicule and criticism. That makes you look deeply insecure, it also makes you look like the bore and the a$$ that we all KNOW you really are. :)

That's fine with me, because I found out long ago that the a$$hole that the girls complain about to their cuddlebitches is the one who she sleeps with and marries. No matter what she says to you, what she DOES with me is another thing altogether. I've made the strategic move from nice guy/friend/cuddlebitch territory to a$$hole/creep/Friday night's date category.

So I'll stay away from your crew, thank you very much.

Hey Snidely, it was a woman who wrote the article. Maybe she's the one you have a bone to pick with, no? My wife actually like homosexual guys. They're fun to talk to, help with decorating, and confide in. But, she sure as hell wouldn't marry one! :D

Really? I'm an extremely strong leader and always have been. I'm very successful professionally and now I'm completely financially independent. Last month I knocked a douchebag out outside a bar after he picked a fight with a small friend. I was also one of the most popular kids in highschool. By your definition I am metrosexual.

Sure you do.

At least answer my question. If you are capable of reading this entire thread, I'm going to assume you can put together some form of response. Here it is again:
