We saw a t-shirt in a Taiwan night market with the label "Ebercombia & Ditch". Should have bought it and wore it here ... :D

Now i know parents shouldnt be letting their kids spend more of their money than they can afford on clothing, but seriously it's sad that a lot of people i know have been made fun of for not wearing abercrombie clothing, i mean how friggin pathetic is that? Besides the fact that abercrombie is a very racist company, and posts porn all over malls, even though they are a clothing company. People all wear these 50 dollar pre-worn out tshirts, like clones, even though they arnt aware of it.

I mean honestly, it's not just a waste of money, it's like people are insanly manipulated by brand names these days and become what many people define as aberzombies. see http://www.aberzombie.com. not saying there is anything bout prefering a certain brand of something, but seriously, being obsessed and only buying from one company and not accepting others who do not want to pay outragous prices for the clothing or even making fun of them is ridiculus.

Sorry if this is a report, but i needed to rant bout it lol i wanna hear peoples opinions and dont wanna be flamed although i dun think i offended anyone directly.... i hope lol

The corporation's only as powerful as society makes it. Besides, it's just clothes. Who gives a damn anyway? If you don't like it, don't shop there.

If you're not paying for these people's clothes, STFU. I don't care for A&F clothing either, and I agree that the "worn out" and "ripped" stuff is fugly, but if that's what someone chooses to spend money on and wear, then that's their own damn business. I choose to wear Nike, Polo, and Tommy Hilfiger clothing. It's what I like. If you want to wear $6 Wal-Mart shirts and $10 K-Mart jeans, go ahead. In the end it's all personal preference, no matter how stupid you or I think their choices are.

Please don't call homogenous mall crap like Abercrombie, BR, Armani (only connected to Giorgio in name) Exchange designer clothing. It's pretty insulting to the designers who do make nice, interesting clothes; and as I and Millennium, among others said, if you want to vent some vitriol about clothing with a horrific price/value ratio, you might want to look at Prada, Gucci, Armani, and the like. $40 for a shirt (retail) is absolutely nothing, although at least the designer brands generally offer something different and interesting in terms of style.

One other thing I noticed was that people tend to complain about judging people for their clothes... yet go ahead and trash people who spend more than they do on clothes. There's nothing wrong with someone else having higher spending priorities and tastes; it's more that the people who do spend more money on clothes are generally clueless that there are much better and high quality options out there for the money.

I quite like A&F, but I prefer American Eagle. When it comes to clothes, I like to wear the best stuff, however, I'd rather save my money for something else.

Also, how much do u honestly think it costs to make a tshirt? a dollar at the most honestly, u can get blank tshirts that are the same or better quality at very low prices.

As for what I wear, I wear jeans and junk from target or kohls, and get tshirts and stuff from places like hottopic, or other various internet stores, or say something unique and crap like that rather than ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH EST 1896 or AMERICAN EAGLE EST WHENEVER lol whatever they say have for est.

What i was getting at more than prices, is that there are tons of people who wont exept people who don't wear clothing from them and consider them freaks, hence making even more people think that they need to buy clothing from them, which could be called buying friends. I know not everyone is like that, and the people that are, are all dumbsh!t's but seriously, there's cases in schools where that's what 7/8 of the school is like, and everyone HAS to buy it or be ridiculed.

Besides the fact, that I'm not sure what the point prewrinkled and pretorn up really is... Uh go find some cloths attack em with a scissors and wrinkle and rip em up, then stamp ABERCROMBIE on them, and u got urself improved clothing.

Someone here should be thinking, hmm, well if i can get people on another brand name, it'd be get rich quick. you know what it would be sadly lol.

I totally agree with you. I would rather pay 60 dollars for a pair of shorts that have lasted me for three years (thats with wearing them while hunting, fishing, and anything else) than pay 10 dollars for a pair that will be nothing but sh1t in 6 months. If someone thinks that their clothes are too expensive...then don't buy it. You can wear whatever you want to wear and if Abercrombie wants sell to only certain groups of people then let them and just shut the fvck up!

Yes, and they the type of companies though, that are blatently racist, and sell u that crap? Well maybe because i honestly don't know but i don't got a problem with just their prices, but things like people only buying from them, thinking they aren't worth anything if they don't or who cry if they parents wont let them and so on.

The whole thing I was trying to get at was not even the price or style, but the fact that they plaster their name on everything, I know companies like Nike do that too, and I don't particularly like that either, and nike is actually mainly a show company which is a whole nother story bout marketing and crap.

how can you say that ABERCROMBIE is racist. Look at all those other clothing stores like Fubu, Rocawear, etc... Not trying to be racist myself...but the majority of people that wear those brands are black.

So how is that racist when the majority of one ethnicity wears a brand, such as FUBU?

Simple. A&F does not cater to porkers. If you can't fit into XXL, you definitely don't belong there.

I grew up on the beach and i believe i would have gotten my ass kicked for wearing this AF crap. Now that i go to school here up north, I see why. I am very happy i didn't grow up away from the beach.....
