I dont really care much about what I wear. The only time I ever really go "clothes shopping" is when I am buying pants/shorts.

I am a teenager. I go to high school in the town which has the largest gap between rich and poor in our state. My family is in the middle.

Exactly how I feel. I've walked in 2 or 3 times over the past 3 years. its too damn expensive. I shop more at AE GAP Kohls and Old Navy.

Ok, yes i could bash other brand names I suppose, but i chose this one, since in my opinion, it's the worst with all this sh!t right now, are their cloithing brands that costs much more? Yes, and they the type of companies though, that are blatently racist, and sell u that crap? Well maybe because i honestly don't know but i don't got a problem with just their prices, but things like people only buying from them, thinking they aren't worth anything if they don't or who cry if they parents wont let them and so on.

The whole thing I was trying to get at was not even the price or style, but the fact that they plaster their name on everything, I know companies like Nike do that too, and I don't particularly like that either, and nike is actually mainly a show company which is a whole nother story bout marketing and crap.

I really don't see why anyone cares honestly...if people want to buy Abercrombie then so be it, no one has a gun to their head....

If kids want to pick on other kids for not wearing abercrombie then petition the school board to impose a dress code that specifically prohibits students from wearing brand labeled clothes don't gripe about the parents or the kids buying the stuff as it is their money and they have every right to spend it as they please.

If you have friends, relatives, co workers or what not that enjoy buying big ticket items, or are concerned with fashion and appearance then don't be the a-hole that preaches to them about how their ways are flawed and they should be concerned with what *you* are concerned with, instead let them live their own lives and make their own choices...what you hold as important they might not care about and vice versa.....

Personally I am not old, and I am not young but I have seen this with more than a few brands and in more than a few situations, when I was growing up brands like Calvin Klein, Z Cavarachii, Marthe Girbaud, Triple Fat Goose, Reebok Pump sneakers and many other fashion fads came and went, there is always the in thing to have...generally as you get older this loses importance, but seeing something like Abercrombie, Gap, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic and other brands grow in popularity really isn't surprising to me.....and I really don't care.

Personally I only have one shirt that my fiancee bought me from Abercrombie like five years ago, nice shirt but not something I would buy on my own, I tend to enjoy Brooks Brothers, LL Bean, and the Polo outlet store more as I find their clothes have a more conservative look and last the longest ...but if people want to buy Abercrombie then I am certainly not going to try and talk them out of it and I am not going to waste my time complaining about it as life is too short.

Now i know parents shouldnt be letting their kids spend more of their money than they can afford on clothing, but seriously it's sad that a lot of people i know have been made fun of for not wearing abercrombie clothing, i mean how friggin pathetic is that? Besides the fact that abercrombie is a very racist company, and posts porn all over malls, even though they are a clothing company. People all wear these 50 dollar pre-worn out tshirts, like clones, even though they arnt aware of it.

I mean honestly, it's not just a waste of money, it's like people are insanly manipulated by brand names these days and become what many people define as aberzombies. see http://www.aberzombie.com. not saying there is anything bout prefering a certain brand of something, but seriously, being obsessed and only buying from one company and not accepting others who do not want to pay outragous prices for the clothing or even making fun of them is ridiculus.

Sorry if this is a report, but i needed to rant bout it lol i wanna hear peoples opinions and dont wanna be flamed although i dun think i offended anyone directly.... i hope lol

calm down. When's the last time you were actually in an A&F? I bought a t-shirt this past weekend that was $25. I've shopped there for a few years now and I have never seen a t-shirt for over $40, let alone $50. You're only contributing to the stereotypes that you bitch about when you attack people who wear Abercrombie without staying true to the facts. Yes, their clothes are expensive, but as other people have mentioned, there are more expensive brands, and they last longer then cheaper stuff. Walk down Newbury street in Boston sometime, drop by Armani Exchange, and if they let you in, check out how much they want for their t-shirts. Yes, Abercrombie does sell pre-worn clothes, but they also sell clothes that are not pre-worn. Again, this speaks to the likely fact that you have never actually been in an A&F, or at least not recently. It sounds to me like you're obsessing more over Abercrombie then anyone I know who wears it...so why don't you just relax a bit, eh?

So you have a problem with Abercrombie because people are morons?

I never paid more than $15 + tax for a t shirt from a&f
I think the t-shirts are cool, better than gap shirts that get torn after 6-7 washes

I don't wear or like A&F clothes but I sure love visiting their stores. At any time you have a hot girl greeting you at a door, a few folding, one at the register, and half a dozen in line to the changing rooms.

A&F has their share of nice looking clothes. I would never buy torn up new clothes for $50 but I don't really care if someone else wants to. And frankly I think all clothing is overpriced.

Don't really like Abercrombie...more of a Polo, Lucky Brand, Phat Farm, and good but relatively affordable designer-wear type of guy :p

Simple. A&F does not cater to porkers. If you can't fit into XXL, you definitely don't belong there.

I don't see how... can you not tell the difference between cheap clothes and expensive clothes?
I have friends that wear gucci and friends that wear target/wal-mart. i don't care either way, whatever works for them is ok with me.

The few things I have from A&F(A shirt and two pairs of cargo pants) I have had for almost 5 years now. They have held up really good and are very comfortable. I don't shop there anymore because I don't like their trends or fashion, but I don't care if someone else does. I have never set there and said "oh look someone isn't wearing brand x, so they must be poor." See that is an inferiority complex. I am not saying some people don't think that way, but they are typically a bastard in anything they do. They are the school bully, they are the guy that everyone loves to hate and the chicks only like because he is an asshole.

A&F is by no means expensive clothing. If you want expensive clothing start looking at some nicer Designers and the like. Ralph Lauren has crap that is sold outside of department stores that is crazy in price. Gucci and Prada I have already mentioned, but look at the price they charge you for jeans. Express for Men has gotten really expensive now, but I don't like their style much anymore anyways.

Who cares what brand you wear? Why does it matter? The only reason it matters to you is because it bothers you. If someone wants to wear it then that is their deal. I am sure they don't care what you are wearing anymore. Once you get out of High School you will see no one gives a rat's ass what kind of clothing you are wearing. Well, that isn't 100% true, but peers aren't going to attack you for not wearing a popular label. One suggestion: Don't dress like an idiot in Kmart clothes or be "that guy" that dresses like a flashback to the 80's. Get a sense of style people it isn't that hard. A Pac-Man t-shirt and jeans doesn't cut it anymore.

True, A&F clothes DO last longer than rip off such as AE.

Never was a big fan of A&F, i've hardly bought anything there (just a jacket and maybe a couple t-shirts), and i don't plan on buying any more.

As far as quality goes, their clothes are pretty much trash. My parents own a few drycleaners and my dad tells me how terrible their clothes are (quality wise, not style or anything like that )

anyone else's AF have live models at the front of store? i have to say, it made me want to step in the store for a bit and "shop" near the hot chick wearing a guy's longsleeve while having no pants on.
