The yankees of football! yey!

Except we have to play by the same rules as everyone else, seeing as we have a salary cap!

And the players take pay cuts to artficially circuimvent that to win superbowls.

Like oh say, Randy Moss, who turned down more money from the Packers.

Um, okay how does that make them the Yankess of football?

Is there a rule that people have to take more money if it is offered?

If you have a program that wins a lot and people want to play for you they can play for however the hell much they want.

In Conclusion, don't hate, it's just making you look dumb.

Wouldn't you rather see a team full of guys with heart and want to win than a bunch of whiny rich spoiled athletes who are playing simply for a paycheck? There is no comparison and to fail to see otherwise means you're either a moron or a Colts fan.

Im a bears fan, and id rather see Moss playing for the Packers.

He couldve turned the packers into a team that actually matters to the division. Did you see Favre play? He definately still has it, and hes playing with basically no line and one WR that can hang onto a pass if you hit him in the damn chest with it.

I hate the patriots just like i hate all stacked teams. I love watching the pro bowl and having it be the Patriots + LT and Manning :brokenheart:

Ah, there's your problem right there.

Shoulda sent Mr. Moss an email before the Pats signed him. I'm sure he would have acquiesced to your wishes. *eyeroll*

He had one hell of a game. I'll get scared if he does this consistently over the next few games. Im not worried yet.

Uh, you might want to go check last year's pro bowl roster. If anything, the Patriots were under-represented. The Chargers, on the other hand, had a boat-load of players elected to the roster.

You're quite possibly the only person in the world that thinks the sanctity of sports is better off when athletes follow their wallets rather than their hopes and dreams of winning a championship..

Like it takes experience to know that you don't dive at a punt. I hope Reed and Lewis are flipping burgers by this time next week.

If money made no difference whatsoever, Moss would be with Manning and the Colts...

Obviously the extra money offered by a team such as Green Bay wouldn't be enough to entice Moss away from good money and a legitimate shot at winning it all - of which if you do win it all you can make more money through bonuses and even endorsements.

"NFL security confiscated a video camera and its tape from a New England Patriots employee on the team's sideline during Sunday's game against the Jets in a suspected spying incident, sources said."

Oh.my.

Except he feels like he has something to prove, that he isn't washed up, and he wants to win more than anything right now. He's in the right place to do it.

i think you're going to see more commitment from him now than at any other point during his career.

I don't get it. If you were going to do a sneaky thing like that, why not just have someone with a good lens film it from the stands? I doubt they would've been caught.

Agreed. And is it awesome that I have 3 of those 6 on my fantasy team? I think so.

There's a limit to the lens size you can take into a stadium as a fan. Plus it would kind of stick out if the guy was only fixed on the jets sideline the whole game.

I don't think lens size would be an issue with all the optical and digital zooms available these
days and all you really need to shoot is the one guy who is calling in the defensive plays.
Put someone in the stands with a camera, a Jets pull-over, and a cell and get the same result.

Patriots are known to cheat. Last year, they signed a former Bills WR right before their game against the Bills and then cut him soon after. What do you think happened in between, hmm?

stealing signs is also a common practice. Don Banks even wrote an article about it last year: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.c...heating.nfl/index.html

Heh heh...

Two games does not a season make.
