Wow, I didn't know about this...thanks OP. I'm really going to miss seeing him, even if only in a commentator-position.

he would have to do a steroid test which he know he will fail.
UFC is rigged like wrestling, if you think otherwise your a fuckin idiot

No, UFC is not rigged. They do not have a pre-determined outcome. However, there is rampant use of steroid abuse. If that is what you were getting at, you're right. However if you really think that there is a pre-determined outcome, you're an idiot.

I was very disappointed with CroCop's performance. He's clearly not the fighter he used to be. I was hoping that Fedor would come to the UFC and bring some excitement back, the man is a legend, and I do not think he's overrated at all. The man wins. Period.

I'll bet a falling out had more to do with it than anything else.

With Randy gone, Tito washed up, Chuck Liddell losing to Jardine recently and Tim Sylvia putting on boring shows, you wonder where UFC is going to get their next star. Is Rampage the only one out there right now?

maybe Joe Rogan will start to fight ( Fear factor) lol

From what I hear, Fedor didn't sign with the UFC because they won't let him compete in the Russian Sambo competitions, which he's been doing for a long time.

I really hate Dana White and his ego sometimes. He won't sign the best talent unless he has it all on his terms, and then goes and makes comments like "Randy would have destroyed Fedor." Well too bad because looks like we'll never know.

sure there may be steriod abuse in much of MMA (wich is why many claim pride fighters are loseing). bu tto even think its rigged is silly.

I thought they had gotten past that though and Dana agreed to sign him up for the UFC after the upcoming round of sambo competitions...?

I think Fedor is avoiding the UFC so he can still juice.

What makes you think Fedor is juicing? from watching UFC and Pride I would say steroid abuse is much more rampant in UFC, than it was in Pride.

Whether the UFC is stacked at the lower weight classes or not, the Heavyweight division, just like boxing, is where the draw is for the crowds. There's nothing like watching to huge guys beat the crap out of each other.

I miss watching Gomi fight.

I miss pride =*(

I think Couture should sign with M-1 for one last fight with Fedor. Win or Lose it would cap off his career.

yeap now that would be great. a PPV i would buy no mattter what the undercard.

either win or lose Randy is going down as one of the BEST MMA fighters.

fuck at his age still kicking ass and having the cardio he has? not to mention he always seems one of the nicest guys around.

Do people still watch this?

It stopped being cool when they all went to submission style and stopped matching up hugely different styles.

I want to see a boxer fight a sumo wrestler!

Don't base it on looking at the fighters, base it on the more rigorous testing done in the UFC.

haha go back to WWF!

I read an article where Dana was stating that a big part of the reason Randy left was money... he was claiming that he was not getting paid as well as other fighters like Cro Cop etc...

Dana will say whatever the F he wants...he's just a prick of a businessman. It's not the first time he's done this, pay new guys huge contracts to free agents and pay their regular guys "average" salaries. Randy will bring in more money in terms of PPV revenues than almost anyone in the roster. I seriously doubt this is about salary anyway.

Randy alluded to that as well, but it was a little different in the story I read. He was bothered more by the fact that Dana said he was the second highest paid UFC fighter when in fact it wasn't true. He basically said that Dana did not afford him the proper respect.

ohh just heard that UFC is not accepting the resegnation letter.

so they are going to force him to fight? since he did have a what 5 fight contract.
