Yes, needed it to install the RAID drivers when built. I think it was about $3, for one-time use.

For, at least the 10th time, it is in there, but not hooked up. I know the search doesn't work, but do you honestly thing this has not been polled before?

Nope, not in my main rig or my notebook. I think there may be one in my S@H workhorse machine though. I've got two 3.5in floppy drives sitting on the floor if I ever needed them for something.

I keep a usb floppy around, just for loading sata drivers in XP. What a pain in the a$$ that the drivers won't load from a cd. I haven't had a floppy installed in my computer since about the year 2000.

I bought a USB floppy drive for my laptop for a few system utilities I use, but beyond that no.

Technically no, but I plan on installing one so I can be that cool. My older PC (which is still pretty fast) has one.

yep

although I should mention that this system was originally built in 2004.. not that floppies hadn't reached their maximum obsolescence by then... :p

Yes, I have one in my newest PC but I've never checked to make sure it's plugged in right. There's a 50% chance that it is.
