people already hate me bragging.

Well, then tell us something interesting that isn't bragging. Like, how many times you've cheated on your wife or something interesting you did as a child that didn't involve excelling at something.

I had my own radio show when I was in 10th grade. A friend and I prank called the radio station and the DJ thought it was so funny he wanted me to call in every Tuesday at 5pm for my own 10 minute bit.

My brother and I prank called a local morning radio station a few times and the DJ got so pissed off at us he was swearing like a sailor. It was the funniest thing ever! I'll never forget the tirade this guy went on. :D

I have all of my wisdom teeth.

I audited a school of mortuary sciences. Our office was next to the embalming room.

My grandfather was a shrimper and one of his boats is displayed in a town's municipal park.

My clothes all have to be hung facing the same direction. I have exactly enough hangers for clothes. If there is an extra hanger of it I am missing one, I know someone was messing with the closet.

I've cycled 100 miles on back-to-back days 7 times. #8 scheduled in a couple of weeks.

I've visited 44 states and 21 countries over 4 continents.

I've been interviewed on ESPN 3 times for different reasons, but none of them related to my athletic ability.

I've never broken a bone, but I've had my share of stitches.

I've never smoked anything, ever.

I've never had to spend the night in a hospital.

-Had my home broken into for the first time ever about a month ago. the only thing they took was my sons iMac and my zippo lighter.

-Had lunch with Stephen Root. We actually walked past birthday cake being handed out as we went to our seats. I was too nervous to make the obvious joke because I feared it might ruin my chance to eat lunch with him. Aside from my son being born, this is my best day ever.

-Later that week I went bowling with George Clooney in a small group of people in a private party. It was some shit hole bowling alley here in my town. You should have seen the girls face when she walked up to deliver the nachos and chicken fingers he ordered (she had no idea who she was bringing the food to, someone else had ordered)

-Also, that same night, I bought a beer for Wayne Duvall http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0245145/, even though I was broke as a joke at the time. He had some great stories, and I didn't realize until later that he's Robert Duvalls cousin, one of my favorite actors.

-Oh, and Renee Zellwiger (sp?) had breakfast with me.

When I was about five years old I licked the end of an electric shaver cord while still plugged in. It had a sweet flavor due to toothpaste splashed on it so I figured it would be fun to put the whole thing in my mouth. Probably the youngest girl to get shocked in the mouth with 240V 50Hz power. Probably also the closest sensation one can get to having their head explode - aka scanners - and living to tell about it!

Ouch. I can't say I've ever felt 240, and definitely not 50hz.

When I was a toddler I did something similar. You know that little switch in the fridge that opens the light when the door opens? Well on old fridges it was at the bottom, and it probably got changed because of people like me. I pulled on it with my mouth, and it came off and it arced/shorted in my face. I was too young to remember it all, but from what I am told, half my face was all black. I wish my mom would have taken a picture because I probably had a priceless look on my face, but she was more busy with freaking out on the fact that I oraly took 120v like a boss.

Lower frequency AC seems to make it worse like getting shot with a machine gun...

Try this once for size. Get a simple single or two pair phone cord. Remove one RJ11 and strip the jacket back so the wires are about 20cm long. Plug the other end into a working phone jack. Stick the wires in your mouth and call that number from a cell phone! That's quite a dazzling shock you will get there! :D

My inner thigh touched a loose wire(240V) when I was climbing a wall. IIRC, it rained that day, holy shit it was terrible. I was really lucky that the wire did not touch my junk.

In the USA 240V is realized from L1 L2. If you touched a single line (either L1 or L2) and felt a shock it was actually 120V. Even so with lowered resistance (wet) it's going to hurt a lot. This is why GFCIs are required in wet areas.

Hahaha I almost tried it once and chickened out. I was working live on a phone line and I had my cell next to me, and the thought crossed my mind. D:

Some of the guys at work have been hit in the face with that. When working on the distribution frame reaching for a wire and have their face smashed up against a terminal block and one of those lines gets a call. Zap! I try to avoid sticking my face on the blocks or touching them more than I have to when I'm working on there. :D

No, this was in India. Should have made it clear.

I lost the grade 9 spelling bee on "meringue". For some reason my mind went blank on that word and of course as soon as the teacher announced I was wrong, in front of the whole school, it popped back in my head. To this day it still bothers me that I lost that on such a stupid, easy word. :(

i was turned down to be a contestant for the weakest link because i answered all the trivia questions correctly. they wanted dumb people.

When I was in Denver in 2006 waited all day for audition for The Apprentice. I won my round and was talking to a Producer about next phase when an assistant interrupted and said I was disqualified because I was too old. I was 43 at the time and the cut off was 30 years old.

They have only had Celebrity Apprentice ever since.

Played baseball in college and one year after getting paid a measly $500 a month.
Managed to completely destroy my shoulder and never did go in for surgery. 18 years later and if I throw any harder than casual my arm goes totally numb and it feels like someone is running over my shoulder with a truck. Have horrific tendonitis in the elbow too (racket sports are excruciating).
