I never missed a full day of school from kindergarten through high school. Missed half days for dr. or dentist but never a full day. I dont know why i did that, i assume my friends were there so i went to hang out /shrug. But once in the real world i missed college/work a lot of all kinds of reasons lol

Got an article in the local paper for my feat :p

Spent 15 months and 28 days walking a dog trained to kill everyone in the world except me around enough nerve gas to kill everyone in the world three times.

Volunteered for the draft in a month that there was no draft (Dec 69).

Served on an island that is now part of Japan but wasn't then (Okinawa).

In Operation Red Hat, was one of the original Red Hats. Though, these days, it appears that not all of the original Red Hats are doing well.

But its alright now ...

If I drink a bottle of port, I'm the most entertaining person you will meet. Friends plan events around this fact, and keep an extra bottle around, just in case.

Also, wearing the getup in my pictar, I scared a small child at the RBC center last year. She shrieked and ran to her father.

I have been on many countries and several continents. I also can speak and write in several languages.

I have a true story of almost "missing the boat" that changed my life/destiny.

I have a mild case of closetphobia (hate enclosed area) and I "have" to check my whole house before I leave (no exception).

I have an odd number of teeth in my mouth. I had a lot of orthodontia done in my adolescent years, including a number of tooth extractions (mostly baby teeth, so no biggie). I was told my mouth was too small to accomodate all the permanent teeth I'd eventually get, so I would need four permanent teeth extracted. One was done, and then I went in for a consult to set up a time to get the other three done, only to be told it was probably no longer necessary. They just yanked my teeth around for a couple more years to get things lined up and called it good. Consequently, I'm short a maxillary first premolar on the right side.

I also have an odd number of teeth. I had a middle bottom tooth (front and center) removed, also because my "mouth was too small".

My wife and I were on the Newlywed Game.

Go! ;)

(BTW, the eventual winners discussed having sex while watching porn, but it was cut out of the broadcasted version)

When I was very young (4 or 5), I saved my neighbor's lives. I was sitting on the floor of our living room either playing or watching TV and when I looked up and out of the window, I saw fire in their upstairs window. I alerted my parents and they called the fire department and got the neighbors out of the house. I got to ride on the fire engine and everything. :D

When I was about 9, I was swimming in a very crowded pool at my sleep-away camp. One of the younger campers (5-6 years old) ended up too deep, was drowning and no one but me seemed to notice. I just grabbed him by the waistband and pulled him to the shallow end while I swam under water.

He got out of the pool and started throwing up from all the water he had swallowed. He had to go to the ER and spent the night there.

I have told many people that story, but not until almost 10 years later (which was over 20 years ago). To this day, no one who was at the camp that day learned who saved the kids life. I honestly do not remember his name and, in fact, may have never known it.

My bro and I were playing in our backyard... digging the ground in search of earthworms during the monsoon season(found one very soon). Then we decided do build a shelter, made of clay and stones, for that worm.. after successfully doing that.. and patting each other on our back.. we left some leaves and small berries for the worm as food.

We came back after a few hours to check up on it.. and needless to say it died from lack of moisture. :(

I still feel bad for the earthworm to this day. :( But my fascination for earthworms still remains.. seeing them in the wild.. somehow makes me happy.

On my first cross country flight as a student pilot, the engine failed and I landed in a soccer field in Redmond. Geekish pilots from Microsoft were the first people on the scene. They heard me on a scanner.

when i was 2 years old and my sister was 4 the Orkin man came over and my mom told us to stay on the porch. my devious sister decided that we would play hide and seek and it was my turn to hide. apparently i thought the rear tire of the Orkin truck was a great spot to hide which resulted in the exterminator running over both my legs. no bones were broken and my legs were pretty much just scraped up. i was too young to remember any of this so i am relaying the story i was told by my mother.

I'm CIIP certified. There's only 843 other people in the US that have that.

That is not how I thought the story would end when I got to the part about your mother sending you two to the porch. I am disappoint.

I've ridden a bicycle 100 miles over the course of 7 hours (5.5 hours ride time).

My sister lives on a 43' sailboat.

My wife was adopted.

I've been married to the same woman for almost 20 years and both of us have only been married once.

Both of my parents were musicians.
