I was wondering what are the differences of PC3 10666, 8500, 12800 etc.

The timings of the ram I recently purchased are G skill 1333mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v pc3 10666, im looking for something faster thats compatible with my i5 2500k

It matters less what CPU you have than what MB you have. Go to the MB's site and check the QVL.

What about RAM voltages? I'm a bit confused. Some say 1.65 V and some say 1.5 V. I'm planning on possibly upgrading in the fall timeframe and I'd like to take advantage of Newegg's sale now, because I have a feeling RAM prices will be going up. I just don't know what specifically to get with respect to the voltages.

You want 1.5 for Sandy Bridge, and probably Bulldozer/Intel 2011. Basically the lower the nm of the chip, the less voltage it can take before it fries. I'm picking up this here for my late spring/summer build.
