So when they are in jail, I wonder if they think it was god's will that they go to jail. These people are seriously mind warped...

I'm kinda wondering how many faith based groups are on the verge of becoming 'bad' for society.

Will be interesting to see what the motive was and where we draw the line against these freaks. I feel sorry for law enforcement that will have to deal with these types that are on a mission from god after lubing up the AR-16 that can be easily and readily purchased from anywhere on line. I believe religion in this country is like a ticking time bomb.

There's so little info in your link I don't see any rational basis for your complaint of them. They were arrested, but we don't even know for what reason.

BTW: You can't purchase AR-16 (or pretty much any gun for that matter) online without an FFL. It's against fed law.

Glad to see the Feds are cracking down on the rightie wing nuts.

The group proclaims themselves to be "religious militants". Might as well call themselves Al-Qaeda-For-Christ.

Lackomar said he heard from other militia members that the FBI targeted the Hutaree after its members made threats of violence against Islamic organizations.

"Last night and into today the FBI conducted a raid against homes belonging to the Hutaree. They are a religious cult. They are not part of our militia community," he said.

Lackomar said he was told there were five arrests Saturday and another five early Sunday. The FBI declined to comment.

One of the Hutaree members called a Michigan militia leader for assistance Saturday after federal agents had already began their raid, Lackomar said, but the militia member -- who is of Islamic decent and had heard about the threats -- declined to offer help. That Michigan militia leader is now working with federal officials to provide information on the Hutaree member for the investigation, Lackomar said Sunday.

"They are more of survivalist group and in an emergency they withdraw and stand their ground. They are actively training to be alongside Jesus," he said.

I imagine you are disappointed there was no blood spilled during the raids... no?

:colbert:

I'm disappointed that the Christian community has been so silent in response to these religious extremists and their extremist threats. When will the Christian community act to strongly condemn the actions of the religious extremists within their ranks?

I imagine they were more disappointed about that than anyone else. They were training to be alongside Jesus, and now they're going to be alongside Bubba in cell block A.

See my reply to jstorm. There are rumors and allegations at this point so there is nothing to "condemn" yet you twit.

But you didn't get your blood spillage. No doubt if your boy bho gets his way sooner or later if he continues to take the reno approach.

So did CNN steal this news off of the Internet? How can you write a report that says you don't know anything? Maybe when they know something useful they should report that news?????

Is every person that belongs to a group or owns a firearm an enemy of the state?

Remember Ruby Ridge? Snipers shot a man in the back. Or should I say they murdered him.

Sounds like you are the one with the hard-on for the killing CADsortaMORON.
You're wrong. CAD doesn't want to kill anyone. He just wants a violent, bloody overthrow of our government using goose-down pillows.

Obama and Holder et al have provem time and time they are sympathizers of the actual terrorists we have most to fear from. It was always obvious they have been trying to criminalize any opposition and make them out to be potential terrorists. They leaked that "memo" last April accusing 24 different groups (including vets) of being potential terrorists just 2 days before first tea parties (who they have also been intentionally trying to defame). This week has been full of a synthetic campaign to make Dems seem in danger. Unfortunately for them most people are already on to them and their games.

"Park manager Terry Mills said authorities blocked off the street for about an hour Saturday night.
"Needless to say, this has everyone talking," said Mills, 62. "We have a lot of retirees here who don't want all this commotion."
****

Gee, did the ATF cause a commotion? Boy, they're sorry I hope. They should let those militias plan their federal building bombings in peace I say.

Uhh. Wha?

The Feds raid a group of wackos, and somehow you turn this into "Obama and Holder have provem time and time they are sympathizers of the actual terrorists..."?

You need to learn to read before you post. But then again, reading might pollute your view of reality, so, best not tempt fate, eh?

WOW!!! NO shit????????? Thanks for the insight Einstein! Did I not state that shit already?

Double WOW!!! You need an FFL? How hard is it to buy 5000 AR-16's for yourself? No, Not hard at all. And you can pass them out to every felon in the church! If you want to buy a shotgun at wall mart you fill out the same forms as you would an AR-16... Any business that sells guns has a FFL dealer... You could buy it online and have it shipped or picked up at the store. I don't see a problem with it.
