Good...I've been a Raiders fan since 1976 and I hated the pick when it was made and am happy to see that fatass sent packing.

Russell is just another example of why there needs to be a rookie cap. Once he got his money he had zero incentive to work. The Raidres probably were stupid not to tie his bonus money to performance. Whatever the maximum is allowed they should've done it.

he's walking away with 39 million bucks. I say if he puts in a month or two of conditioning he'll be able to get someone to take a chance on him, giving him the bare minimum. His big arm is too enticing to GMs and Coaches to ignore.

He really sucked. But the whole team pretty much sucks though, so they won't go too far.

I can't find the thread, but there were pictures on AT awhile back of Jamarcus wearing over $1m in jewelry and diamonds. Don't think we'll be seeing any more pictures of that! If he's smart he's already gotten rid of that stuff.

My guess based on their draft picks this year that he has most likely passed on and his last request was to be propped up and preserved in the head office and still treat him as the Manager. I'm envisioning it similar to Weekend At Bernies.

the other owners in the league because they're tired of him during the draft into a circus with his horrible picks.

Like Al Davis has ever been known to care about what his peers, constituents, media, fans, players think about him. He does nothing for anyone but himself.

Well, there goes my first fantasy pick this year. I really thought he was going to turn it around.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, is he next? Or Darren McFadden? The Raiders drafted a QB who couldn't win, a running back who couldn't run, and a receiver who couldn't catch.
