Raid on the Reactor

Good find! I have seen it but I will watch it again.

It also reminds me of the mission in Jane's USAF, Q take 2, where it was basically the same thing happening again.

I got about 1/3 of the way through and they keep mentioning the f-16's, do they ever finally mention the f-15's?

You do not want to fvck with the IAF. They are badass.

I'd try my chances with them over Mosad, now they are scary.

Here's some tidbits for you:

June 5, 1967 ? the Six Day War: The destruction of the entire Egyptian air-force within 3 hours. By the end of the day the Syrian and Jordanian air forces were wiped out as well. The IAF shoot-down total at the end of the war was a claimed record of 451 enemy aircraft downed versus of its own ten downed.

March, 1969 until August, 1970 ? the War of Attrition: 111 enemy warplanes were shot-down in dogfights by IAF pilots while only four IAF warplanes were shot down in dogfights by enemy pilots (according to Israeli sources). Also, during the Cold War the Soviet Union held close relationships with the Arab nations. On July 30, 1970 the tension peaked: An IAF ambush resulted in a large scale air brawl between IAF planes and MiGs flown by Soviet pilots ? five MiGs were shot down, while the IAF suffered no losses.

June 8, 1982 ? 1982 Lebanon War: The destruction of the entire Soviet supplied Syrian air-defence system in Lebanon within a few hours without a single warplane lost; Syria with the help of the Soviet Union built up an overlapping network of surface-to-air missiles. Also the IAF states it achieved in dogfights a total of 80 Syrian planes shoot-downs, without a single Israeli plane being shot down.

I'm not doubting that the IAF is badass, but ISF (special forces) (i.e. Mossad and their other Anti-Terror squads) were the guys on the ground directing all those attacks.

Mossad is like our Delta Force. Trust me they are there, but we just do not hear about it. Mossad has more of an urban CIA experience because of Isreal's situation, but they have the same capabilities as our SFOD-D

There are various spec op groups.
Sayeret Matkal and Shayetet 13 being the two best known.

Interesting. Now Iran wants to wipe them out. You know Israel has an answer for Iran as well!
Olmert is a spineless coward, as is Halutz, so I have my doubts that they can do anything.
But yeah, I'm sure the military and intelligence have some kind of plan should it come to that.

I understand what you mean, but a lot of stuff Delta is tasked with are the same responsibilities that Mossad are responsible for, that's all. Delta trains a lot with Mossad operators also.

We both have no idea where Mossad's responsibilities end and where the Spec Op start, so it's kind of a silly argument. We both don't really know who Delta trains with either. But this I do know. Mossad is not a fighting force at all. Sure, agents know how to fight, but they are not a fighting team. They are an intelligence agency. Delta is a fighting force, a spec op team, kind of like Sayeret Matkal.

I'm a little sketchy but didn't the F15's arrive first and were taksed with CAP. I could be completely off though.
