I got about 1/3 of the way through and they keep mentioning the f-16's, do they ever finally mention the f-15's?

They didn't use F-15s for this mission.

I'm a little sketchy but didn't the F15's arrive first and were taksed with CAP. I could be completely off though.

It sounds like you're thinking of something else. The video portrays the attack as being all about stealth, with the F-16's coming in at 50-100 feet to avoid detection. They dont mention a thing about F-15s. Id imagine that a bunch of F-15's flying CAP would have tipped off the Iraqi's pretty fast, too. :/

Interesting unrelated tidbit from the video: the first Israeli astronaut (whose first and last mission was on the Columbia, the space shuttle that disintegrated upon reentry) was one of the pilots who flew on this mission.

On these shows, it seems the producers throw any old footage into them without first figuring out what they're showing. In the part where they're talking about Mirage fighters, they show an F-18. They also showed a harrier and a Su-27. On the part about Iraqi SAMs, they showed Patriot missiles.

Is this the same attack or did Israel attack twice ?

That's the same event, but it sounds like they got their facts messed up. F-15's didn't hit the reactor.

No, they didn't go in as bombers they went in as air support, just in case.

The BBC article says, "An undisclosed number of F-15 interceptors and F-16 fighter bombers destroyed the Osirak reactor "

It says F-15s and F-16s destroyed the reactor. Only F-16s destroyed the reactor.

Cool video, I didn't catch where it said anything about F-16 air support though, only 8 F-16s in what sounded like they were alone.

I thought that originally the mission was going to be run with the F-15's, but when they got the chance to buy some F-16's, they jumped at it and used them instead.

Yep I was right, upon furthur research F15's flew in first and took out any SAMS and AAA, and then flew CAP.

The video was a bit misleading. They didn't mention anything about any supporting fighters at all, and in fact mentioned that the SAMs weren't on.
