Raid help please

I'm trying to setup a computer with raid. This is my first time using it and i have a question. I have 2 equal hard drives and 2 cd-roms i need to run. I have 2 ide/ata slots. How should i configure the devices so i can run the hd with the on mobo raid (MSI PT880)?
 
Are your jumpers set correctly? You could try the 'cable select' setting or the 'master/slave' combination. You could also try them with a hard drive and CD-ROM on one channel (hard drive as master) and likewise on the other. Strange that it wouldn't work the way you have it.
