I am using RadLinker to overclock my Herc 9800 Pro at the moment, but it's a real pain in the arse to have to go to display>advanced options>radlinker, etc... then having to find the correct o/c and set it, after EVERY reboot.

So is there a profile I can make that I can place on the desktop so that when I run it it will set the clock to whatever is saved?

You can set ATI tool to open on startup, load a profile, and close itself. You don't even notice it opened. It's very easy. I don't know about radlinker tho.

Make individual Rad files for your games. Each Rad file can be configured with the Overclock speeds you want, then use the Rad files to start your Games.

I thought I remember seeing Rad profiles when I was on the site originally downloading it, but how do I do this?

Once Radlinker is installed, goto a games exe file and right click on it. There will be a new entry in the right click menu "Create Radlink file". In that same directory(note: you can do the same with a games shortcut, but the Radlink file always gets created in the same directory as the games exe) a Radlink file of the name of the games exe will be created. Right click on the Radlink file and select Properties. In the Properties are tabs for setting Overclocking, Direct3D, OpenGL, and other settings.

Thats a good idea. Which file is the exe file though?

Depends on the game, usually the [gamename].exe for eg: Unreal Tournament = UT.exe; Unreal Tournament 2004 = UT2K4.exe; Half Life = HL.exe

You can also just set it to boot at the oc speeds I think. At least radlinker with my BBA 9700pro has an option to boot to bio defaults or boot to current settings.

I just installed it, Radclocker2010.msi, even rebooted after. But when I right-click ut2004.exe there is no 'Create Radlink File'. Just the things in there from WinRAR like 'add to xxx.zip', etc...

There was no options in the setup program for specifying if integrating into shell or what have you... It just installed.

Yeah I see where you can boot the overclock speeds just I'm not sure if I feel comfortable booting an o/c speed that might possibly be too high. I've just been manually going to radlinker before I go and play a game each time.

Strange, goto the Radlinker website and check their Install/Setup instructions. I installed Radlinker so long ago I can't remember if there is a special step involved.
