Because Youtube's sound quality sucks; though, when it comes to Katy Perry, I doubt that it would make much of a difference, if any.

1. I just found it;
2. Youtube sound quality is not so good;

But don't change the subject:

Are you still fairly confident that the version I am looking for doesn't exist, or were you talking out of your British ass...

What I'm fairly confident of is that there is no radio edit removing Snoop Dog's crap from it.

In britain we don't have an ass, unless you are talking about a donkey.

We have an arse.

Here in my local area there are two types of radio stations that play "California Gurls". The one's that play hip-hop top 40 have Snoop in there and the one's that play soft rock/non-hip-hop (more soft rock/other pop station) play the version that doesn't have Snoop. (If you are familiar with SF Bay Area radio stations 94.9 FM has Snoop and 106.5 does not have Snoop).

Thus I can verify that such a version does exist somewhere. Let me check my Rhapsody account to see if they have it.
