EdipisReks, I think the problem I was having with FSAA not working was a driver bug which is likely fixed by now so it probably won't be a big problem.
There's a really nice FSAA comparison (speed comparison) of the Geforce 2 GTS, MX, Radeon DDR, Kyro II (32mb VividXS and 64mb Herc 4500) and Voodoo5 in the new firingsquad Kyro II review so you might want to look at that for some indication of Radeons FSAA performance. The comparison features SS, Q3, Evolva, MDk2 and UT, in some of the tests the Kyro II's 4xFSAA is actually faster then MX and Radeon's 2xFSAA!!!! (not turning this into a Kyro II thread but I just thought I'd mention that as it speaks volumes for Radeons FSAA speed). The tests are using Win98 SE but for Win2k performance just imagine the Radeon %10 slower at lower res (the high res FSAA tests would probably be the same speed as there so bandwidth limited).
Here's the URL for the first page of the FSAA comparison part of the review: http://firingsquad.gamers.com/hardware/kyro2/page14.asp
