Sup lads!
Karlitos try a different bios for the cards.
I had a dp loss like twice a week but when I switched to a tri-x it stablized for a long period.
It's pretty strange... both you and kaapstand had this issue and I didn't... maybe my cards were a latter patch?
I pm'd King4x4 on ocn for some advise. He's been happy with his quad 290Xs and triple 1440s.
Welcome to the green side where you generally don't wait months/years for fixes to acknowledged bugs, years as was the case with eyefinity (where DX9 is still bugged with CF / EF framepacing). That's pretty much how I felt when using eyefinity. Frustrating to use my PC. After a while it gets old. As you experienced.
In any case, glad you got a working setup. Do you plan to go quad yet again? Or just testing the waters?
Edit: Ah, friends build. NVM!
A little update not so an update.
I tried same monitors with same Display Port Active Adapters with a MSI GTX 780 Twin Frozr.
No issue at all so it's not the monitors or the adapters... it's the driver. :'(
A co-worker at my job asked me to build him a good rig to play games so i5 4670k + GTX 780 😀

Both companies have their strenght and weakness. I will never be a fanboy.... NEVER
I'm losing faith.
Cards bought on last week of October 2013. It's now March 2014. I've been owning those cards for 4 months. And I've been disabling two cards and play on single monitor instead of 4 cards and triple monitors.
Sell them while the mining tax is still collectable.
Fixed that for you
Stress tested with AIDA64, Prime95, and various different benchmarks. After killing my first 4770K, I have been having pretty decent luck with picking hardware.
Here is an old benchmark:

In a worst case scenario I can always add in the Cooler Master SP Gold 1200W and run 3 PSUs for 4 cards rofl.
I have a i7 3930k to bottleneck this rig 😉
I don't want to hijack a thread, but making a new one is also pointless when there's alreayd a discussion on this one.
But is it normal for Hasswell to run hot? I mean in the 90s once in a while then average to 70 or 80 C under prime95 under a decent cooler (Noctua U9B in my case) when I have all 4 cores and 8 threads running at 3.8?

Well.. I didn't have your problem karlitos... but now I do!
Started after installing the 14.3 drivers... no game would run what so ever on eyefinity... then I installed 13.12 and still the same issue... disabled one gpu and VOLA IT WORKED!
Hello Karl,
I understand your frustration – I would feel the same; I believe the issue will be fixed next month, or as soon as possible as you are priority to me.
As you may know I’ve forwarded all of our email correspondence with the customer support team with urgency. And plan on doing so again today.
Karl, I apologize and will continue to keep you up to date as much as possible.
Meanwhile, I’d like to offer you a game code(s) as token of appreciation for your patience. If okay with you, I’d like to email you a code for Battlefield 4 and one for Thief – just let me know.
Best,
Hi guys, I have a small update for you. I think AMD engineers are getting closer to a solution. Here is a email I received today:
I still have faith and I'm crossing my fingers.
Is that from Sam? If so, awesome to be kept in the loop and receive a small token of appreciation for your patience. Really cool that they did that for you.
