Which card is faster, the Geforce2 GTS-V at newegg or this Radeon LE?

Do you know if this is a clearance or a refurbised item? This card is located in the Clearance/Refurbished Items section.

Is the LE the one that can be ...cough, changed to a regular radeon ddr?

Yep, it sure is!

Here's the info on overclocking/tweaking the Radeon LE and the reviews...

Looks like a good deal to me, might have to spring for one (all these Hot Deals are driving me straight to the poor house...)

TV out?

Edit:

Didn't read the fine print-

**Pictured card features TV-out. We are currently shipping the model without TV out.

Still a good deal tho

I note from the AT article that Entech's PowerStrip was used to overclock the card. That program is shareware at $30. It has much more capability than just overclocking the ramdac. Is there a freeware program to do the same thing or can the card be overclocked during the evaluation period and stay overclocked after the software expired? Obviously spending $30 negates the price advantage of the card.
