I had a friend I went camping with, he would pull a frozen rabbit or squirrel out of the freezer before we left. Pretty good!

Duck is highly depended on who cooks it and how. Had great and terrible.

Try goose sometimes if you like a fatty fowl.

They where selling bison and elk in our grocery store, mighty tasty, rabbit not so much although the Dutch store sometimes sells smoked horse meat
you can buy rabbit at No Frills here.

my friend let me eat in the air force cafeteria and they served rabbit meat. It taste like chicken.

Its not bad. Few weeks ago we were teaching my buddies dog to retrieve so i shot a dozen or so and we roasted em over a fire later. Always thought it was ok, not the best not the worst but fills ya up. Dog only ate 3 and actually brought the rest back, not bad for a 8 month old puppy.

It doesn't really taste like chicken.It's gamey and it tastes like rabbit smells, so fairly unpleasant.
It's pretty much free so its good protein if you have no money and by eating it you are probably doing the local environment a favour but apart from that there's not a lot to recommend.

I wonder if I could make a living being a rabbit farmer? The problems I can see is that this market might be a fad for now, and rabbits bred like crazy.

The advantages of raising the rabbits is you can control what they eat, And a good cook could do wonders with it.

Rabbits selling point is that's it's free. If you start feeling them special diets then its just going too make it expensive (or more expensive than chicken anyway).
A good cook can do wonders with anything. It's still tastes of rabbit though. Rabbit has a weird distinctive smell.

Have not had Rabbit in recent memory, though I know it is very popular through much of the world.
My favorite is goat and lamb, but I love beef, pork, duck, chicken, turkery, venison, buffalo, boar, bear, and just about every meat.

Depends where you are at, If you are lucky you have a steady market where people love eating rabbit meat. Otherwise you will eating your rabbits yourself. However depending on the breed, you could also sell the pelts as well as the meat.

Had it a few times, not really my thing. If it's catching on, good. Lean meat from an easy to raise and replenish stock being more plentiful is a good thing, and I'll wager a guess and say rabbit is easier on the environment than pork or beef.
