Don't go out of your way to try rabbit. But dude, you need to get out and do some duck. Rabbit is meh, duck is delicious.
Rabbit is whatever. Duck is heavenly.

We had duck for Thanksgiving this year. I liked it pretty well, but the housemate didn't - too rich.Rabbit is whatever. Duck is heavenly.

Oddly, the cats weren't fans either.
That movie is older then I thought. I've seen the remake back in the early 2000's.Rodents of all kinds are delicious, even Willard's friends.
Despite the teeth and deliciousness, rabbits aren't rodents.
you can buy rabbit at No Frills here. They where selling bison and elk in our grocery store, mighty tasty, rabbit not so much although the Dutch store sometimes sells smoked horse meat
Yup it is really rich. What did you eat it with? Best to have something compliment the richness.
I was nine. It was impressionable. That movie is older then I thought. I've seen the remake back in the early 2000's.
The advantages of raising the rabbits is you can control what they eat, And a good cook could do wonders with it.It doesn't really taste like chicken. It's gamey and it tastes like rabbit smells, so fairly unpleasant.
It's pretty much free so its good protein if you have no money and by eating it you are probably doing the local environment a favour but apart from that there's not a lot to recommend.
Rabbits selling point is that's it's free. If you start feeling them special diets then its just going too make it expensive (or more expensive than chicken anyway). The advantages of raising the rabbits is you can control what they eat, And a good cook could do wonders with it.
I will have to try it sometime anyway.Rabbits selling point is that's it's free. If you start feeling them special diets then its just going too make it expensive (or more expensive than chicken anyway).
A good cook can do wonders with anything. It's still tastes of rabbit though. Rabbit has a weird distinctive smell.
Theres plenty of other game that's way better than rabbit. Wild duck is great. Venison is good. Pheasant is really good.I will have to try it sometime anyway.
Depends where you are at, If you are lucky you have a steady market where people love eating rabbit meat. Otherwise you will eating your rabbits yourself. However depending on the breed, you could also sell the pelts as well as the meat.I live on a farm now, how much money are we talking about here?
