Weird error. What kind of monitor do you have ?
It could be that the R9 270x is outputting at a refresh rate that is not supported by the monitor. Because your internal gpu seems to work.
But the strange thing is that that should be solved with a clean install.
You have no picture at all during MB bios Power On Self Test screen ?

i have a dell monitor and i checked all cables the cpu gpu i cleaned the gpu applied new thermal paste and i cant boot with it but when i put the vga cable into the intel graphics it shows display

I am just curious, that monitor, is it a lcd model or a crt model ?

?

I mean, it is just weird that a graphics card just stops for no reason and trove (combined with steam) seems known to do weird stuff with resolutions and refresh rate.
Did you have any issues with the R9 270X before ?
blue screen of death ?
Checkerbox screen ?
Random crashes ?

nope man it just sometimes did this but resetting cmos or removing and placing ram back fixed it

but it still works it still spins fans and in device manager when i boot with internal gpu there is unknown pci device

Oke. I also had my share of graphic cards that just gave up after years of flawless functioning, but i got checkerboxes or just huge asci characters in 8 colors. Add horizontal or vertical lines.

Aha, cmos settings of your mother board.
How old is the motherboard ?
Is it possible that the coin battery is drained ?
A low voltage can cause weird effects because the cmos settings of the MB get corrupted over time.
The coin battery should be ~3V.

u think if i replace the battery it will work?

I do not know. Measuring if it is full or empty will give certainty.
However, if you have exactly the same coin battery but new. You could try it.
If you replace it with the new one, just to be certain is always good.
Replace it only with the mains plug disconnected.
And after replacing the battery, clear your cmos first. Then set the jumper to the normal position and see if the computer will post with the R9 270X.

Oke, you replaced it with another 500W psu.
Or do you mean you have two power supplies ?

If you have replaced it, that is good.
Well, then all you can try is replacing the coin battery.
I think this is not a recent model, so it could be the coin battery.

By the way, how is the cooling ?
The R9 270x produces a lot of heat.

nope i have the 2 ghetto mounted and for the colling the fan always stays at very low speeds when it did boot and temp stays around 30-35

Oke, that is theoretically possible.
But it could mean one 3.3V plane comes up earlier or later than the other 3v3 plane.
And cause weird issues.

But why not just use the 500W psu alone ?
Saves you a lot of hassle.

i would do that but this mobo is so weird.it doesnt have a 24 pin instead it has some other weird connections supported only by its psu

yup and the r9 270x requires 2 6 pin which 1 i provide with the psu and 1 with an molex adapter i have rechecked the wiring and tried different molex wires but still no display on gpu only on intel hd gpu

The problem is that because the two psu do not reach their target voltages at the same time, you could experience latch up which in a worst case scenario usually ends up in a lot of smoke. But it could be that the motherboard is already powered up while the gpu card is not. The cpu on the MB does a power on self test of the hardware and probes all pci-e ports if something is connected and loads whatever needed from the bios. If your gpu card is not powered up yet, the MB may not initialize it correctly.

This is not a safe practice.

A long shot would be if you know an electrical engineer. He or she could measure the voltages and then cut the wires and connect the custom hp connectors to the 500W psu and remove the old 240W psu . But that can only be done by someone with electronic expertise. Otherwise, you would take a big risk.
