Very classy for Stone Cold to pay homage to Chris Benoit, even though Benoit broke Stone Cold's neck way back in the day.</end quote></div>

That was Owen Hart when he did a piledriver to Austin. That move is of course outlawed now.</end quote></div>

its used. not very often but it is used.

I haven't seen it in a very long time other than the tombstone piledriver done by Undertaker and Kane but they are tall enough so mistakes won't happen. ..boy the quotes are facked up.

I turned on RAW at the usual time to find McMahon speaking in an empty ring. I knew something was up, but didn't expect this. This is a very tragic and huge loss to professional wrestling. My thoughts will be with the rest of his family. On a side note, they had better drop the McMahon angle and not try to sell storylines using his name like they did Eddie's.

oh no shit. that pissed me off.

I always enjoyed watching Chris Benoit fight. I never remember seeing him out of shape or half ass'in it through a fight. I was truely happy for the guy when he finally got the belt.

RIP Chris Benoit...

Eh, the only piledrivers are done by Undertaker, I've never seen Kane use it. If you watch Undertaker's closely, their head barely touches the mat, it's nothing like the original form.

RIP Benoit. The man was incredible, even if it was all scripted. Never talked **** either.

Wrestler Benoit, Wife and Son Found Dead
Published: June 25, 2007

Filed at 8:49 p.m. ET

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a homicide.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found at their home about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.

Pope said results of autopsies on Benoit, his wife Nancy, and 7-year-old son Daniel were expected Tuesday.

Benoit, 40, was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career.

''WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy,'' the federation said in a statement on its Web site.

Benoit was scheduled to perform at the ''Vengeance'' pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called ''personal reasons.''

Benoit, a Canadian native, maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.

Officials would not say how the family died, other than to say they weren't shot to death.

Atlanta Georgia, figures.

for Chris and family

Just found out about this now. WOW, just WOW.

Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn had better be careful, it's as if there's a curse against the The Radicalz.

RIP Canadian Crippler. When he used to have a mullet in WCW and was a 2nd tier guy, I couldn't stand Benoit, but I started liking him more and more, until he became on of my favorites.

Wait...a wrestler with a mullet? No fscking way!!!

Yea I turned on the tv to watch Raw and when I noticed it was a tribute, I was like wtf. Man him and his whole family. On one of the web sites they said it was homicide. Truly sad story.

murder-suicide suspected....so most likely his wife killed them if the other reports are accurate about him rushing home to take care of sick family

starting to wonder if his wife didn't off herself and the kid, then he gets home to find this and kills himself in grief. i dunno. it's surreal, regardless.

I still can't believe it. I'm not ashamed to say that I was crying when they just showed the recap of when he won the championship and Eddie was there with him.

I know this stuff is not real and I haven't watched it much the last few years cause it's not the same, but man this sucks.

RIP Benoit. Thanks for all the memories.

Speculation, not fact.
true.

"The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast."

tribute to a guy that killed his family, who is the brain behind this.
