Well, it's a pretty sensational story so that's what drew me to read this thread and continue to read it. I feel sickened by what this guy did.

I'm sure you watch/do stuff that other people think is stupid, so whats the point?

I'm sure I do too. People have said plenty of negative things to me here about my cycling, my hatred of SUVs, my opinions on cars. I can take it. I might get riled up sometimes but I can certainly take it...and I don't generally hold a grudge.

Oh well, I don't want to derail this thread into a debate about posting etiquette.

this is terrible... as per cnn: Law enforcement officials confirm they believe wrestler Chris Benoit asphyxiated his son on Friday and his wife on Saturday morning before hanging himself later Saturday.

I thought he spoke to wwe on sunday? how could that be if he killed himself on saturday

I'm not going to mourn or condemn him. The entire situation stinks and I feel bad for the wife and son.

I will not condemn someone who performed such an act "just because". Most people in here will claim selfishness, jealousy or cowardice, while overlooking very possible mental health issues.

Officials confirmed at a news conference Tuesday afternoon that a quantity of perscription drugs, including anabolic steroids, were also found in the home. Steroid abuse has been linked to depression and angry outbursts, and authorities are investigating whether drugs played a role in the deaths.

The couple had lived together since 1997, were married in 2000 and separated in 2003 when 43-year-old Nancy Benoit, a wrestling manager, filed for divorce claiming domestic abuse at the hands of her 40-year-old, 5-foot-10, 220-pound husband.

Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday.

"The details, when they come out, are going to prove a little bizarre," Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard said.

Police also revealed Tuesday that a text message was sent from Chris Benoit's cellphone at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, but would not disclose the message's content or recipient.

Police initially had trouble getting to the Benoit home because of two large German shepherds on the property.

tp be fair as large as he was he is not going to fit confterbaly in a smaller car. now i do agree H3 is nuts but i can see him having a suv.

I'm short (5'6") and i even feel cramped in some smaller cars. i feel for some of you over 6'3"

The Taurus is a full size sedan, one that needs a V6 or is extremely anemic on the highway. Its gas mileage is barely 21mpg.
