When you say put some TIM where the transpiper connects to the mosfet area, are you talking about the southbridge where I slide the 4 nuts, then screw a plate over the pipe?

just spread a light thin layer of TIM on that b4 you screw on.

no were talking about the addition of the transpiper on the DFI UT series.

I told him he should apply a little tim on that heat pipe so it makes a better contact with the mosfet joint its suposed to be in contact with.
