oh please.

only a douche will attack Barbara Bush. what a great lady she is.

of course if every single one of those people from NO and elsewhere moved to Texas that would not be a good thing. it would put too much strain

if this is a major news story, then we are all screwed

Wicked little patrician bitch thinks that its OK for poor people to be treated like crap because they are poor anyway. With a mom like that, no wonder Jr is such a despicable little human being...
so she was wrong? you think they were privileged?

You are serious aren't you? The point little man is not that she is right or wrong about whether they are underprivileged - btw, she is right. The point is that when providing relief for people following an emergency, you should not consider their economic standing in relation to the relief provided. More over, you should not justify the level by saying they are "underpriviledged anyway".

In any event - anybody that knows anything about this horrid old bag, knows this is not her first such verbal miscue. For those of you who don't, do a google search on her "beautiful mind"...
who the fvck are you calling little man? 😕

and PUHLEESE do not tell me you actually believe that relief was hastened due to economic status of those affected by the hurricane. that is so much bullsh!t.
but you hang on that if it makes you feel better.

Little girl, I am Napalm.

Please show me where I claimed relief was hastened due to economic status. In the later grades they will cover reading comprehension - be patient...
your insults only prove you have a small mind.

you should not consider their economic standing in relation to the relief provided.

were you not accusing them of this? 😕

Its a funny thing - when ever I read something from someone who chooses to justify something that is wrong I feel the urge to insult them - then I often act on this urge. Its a sign of weakness I suppose. BTW - was you comment about my small mind an insult? I was not entirely sure...

In answer to your last question: no.

read what she said
Barbara Bush said: "Almost
everyone I?ve talked to says we're going to move to
Houston." Then she added: "What I?m hearing which is sort of
scary is they all want to stay in Texas.

she is saying the people she's talked to all have mentioned going to Houston, and that's scary being that so many of them plan to settle there. she is thinking that a large majority feel this way and it may be too much for Houston to handle.

good gawd you people just love making something out of nothing. you should be in the media.

I'll give you this one.

B. Bush must be 93 years old..... I say give her a break. At least she convinced George Sr. to wash that absurd Grecian Fromula 16 out of his mop. I thought George Sr. was going to a Roy Orbison look-a-like contest.

That 'beautiful mind' statement was taken out of context.

Barbara Bush had HUGE approval ratings when her husband was in office. I can't believe people take shots at her, using it as ammo against her son. Attack her son if you wish, but leave her alone.

Then have someone stop this cow from posing for photo-ops.
nice...i'll bet your grandmother bares a resemblance.

Thanks - my grandmother died last month. BTW - I never asked her to go pose in front of cameras to try and increase my approval ratings at work.

What a self-centered b1tch. At least she's too senile to catch herself from saying the truth.

Kanye was right.

Kayne said, "Barbara Bush hates black people"? 😕

I'm willing to let go of the "sort of scary" comment as somewhat valid - when your state's population of newly homeless balloons by 250,000 in the space of a week, the locals are going to get a bit worried about the months ahead.

Considering that many of the displaced probably saw their lives flash before their eyes and perhaps left family, friends or pets behind... "this is working very well for them" is pretty frickin' cold.

Maybe you should actually LISTEN to the clip rather than just reading it? She does the Bush Family pause and laugh during her statement. You'll understand when you listen to it.

wow

I'm just being as insensitive as the rest of y'all, so ah heck off

it just seems to me a bit insensitive.

sayin they are probably better off implies that their lives prior to the storm were so sh!tty...

maybe they were poor, but poor people don't deserve to go through something like this.

no one does.

But maybe they will be better off, not having any posessions, no identity, no job, families torn apart, no home, no community.

yeah....

it's probably a nervous laugh, because no matter what she says someone is going to misconstrue it to fit their agenda.
