quixtar = amway = multi-level marketing = pyramid scheme = SCAM! :|

do a little research online. it doesn't take much time to figure out it's a scam. pyramid schemes are illegal anyway.

anyway, it's a nice idea that they lure you in with. unfortunately, you lose when you join a pyramid scheme late in the game. you end up doing a ton of work and spend lots of time for such a little return. all the people above you might be making bucks, but it's because people like you want to join and do their work for them. lucky them! you should really sit down and do the math. find out exactly how much you'll be making. and find out how many friends you'll lose by trying to recruit them.

i was almost "recruited" by attending a seminar in my area. i'm glad i did the research before investing my time in this scam.

Its not a pyramid scheme. Learn the difference if you are going to throw mud around like that. Yes, Quixtar is a multi-level marketing scheme, and yes its a losing venture for 99% of its members. But the products they sell are pretty good and the prices are similar to what you pay locally. If you don't like their products then more power to you.

Ah Kronos, I know you already. You're a broke college kid looking to make a quick buck aren't you? Don't think saying someone you knew signed up is going to fool anyone. ;) All multilevel marketing schemes are basically the same. Sign under your recruiter, you start a website or minstore or some other bs. You sell products at inflated prices, then you go recruit more people and they go recruit more people etc. The products these scammers sell are only there to make these pyramid scheme legal. I bet the guy recruiting you drove up in a nice car (problebly leased) or told he owned some super nice car, and was ranting about how much money he/she has. It's like there crooks don't even have a mind of their own.

DON'T be fooled, I've lost several friends because I wouldn't join their stupid schemes. If you want to make money, play the stock market or go to Vegas, you'll have a better chance of making money there.
