Quidditch gaining popularity

If magic were real and you could really fly on a broom and have a high speed golden snitch to catch, Quidditch would be a damn cool sport to play and watch. But in the real world, this is a bit much.

It's still more interesting than soccer.
 
Well... considering the main piece of equipment in this game include items which do not currently exist:
1 - Flying Broom
2 - magical golden snitch

They're not playing quidditch.

call it broomball or whatever you want... but its not quidditch.

And out comes the resident quidditch purist. 😀

I guess this is what happens when geeks want to play sports...

I had the displeasure of actually watching a "match" in the Spring. Between the two female "announcers" who were feigning British accents while trying to be witty and the fact that half of these people aren't coordinated enough to properly assemble a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it was actually hilarious.

They must require the brooms to slow down athletic people. The game is seriously pathetic.
