This system should haul butt. If i feel like playen around I turn my counterstrike server on and it is a dual P II 350 with 128m connected to dsl 768/128. It runs but has some high pings around 200 or so for people playen. Yours shouldn't stumble to much. Have fun and let me know the server name so I can give it a shot.

holy cow. I just looked up webmin on my newly installed linux box, and it came pre-installed. I fired up my web browser and took a look, and

*** OH MY GOD ***

This single program is --the-- godsend for linux configuration.

Thanks Russ!!!!!!

Yeah, it's a pretty nifty piece of work.😀 I can make changes to my server from anywhere on my network. Just make sure you have it bound to a LAN address, NOT a WAN address.

webmin is pretty cool. I install for all my newbies that I build servers for. 🙂 Anyways...I always compile it myself and run it over ssl and a different port and write a good secure access list for it so that joe shmoe can't just access it and use brute force to hack away at the password.
