Dave's cool, he's got the balls to put his unvarnised opinion out there, and whether or not you like the way he says it, he's usually right. I'd be proud to call him brother.

Are you sure your brother wasn't whisked away by a band of Gypsies and in his place they substituted a talking ape?

No, I'm not. Dave goes over the top, sometimes, and I've PM'd him to call him on some of it, but unlike the Bushwhacko liars, his heart's in the right place, and if my life depended on it, I'd trust him to watch my back more than any of them.

Gotta have time to get the stories straght..............................................LMAO

But then if you actually read it you would see:
"In the course of those discussions, the US Attorney's office requested the public release of the Transition review be deferred until the week of December 22"

Obama's camp is not the one stalling here, the feds are.
Intentionally dishonest post, or just too lazy to read the whole thing? hmm.
Starting to smell like more desperate right wing bullshit to me.

If you are going to be dishonest do not provide a link owning yourself, k? Not everyone is that stupid.

BREAKING - 2:25 PM PST -- I am listening to Obama's news conference as I'm typing this. He was asked about this. He explicitly said his staff has completed their review and that Fitzgerald has asked his office not to disclose or discuss details of their contacts with Blagojevich?s staff to the public for a week or so to avoid the possiblity of impeding the ongoing investigation.

Patience, child. You can laugh if and when you've got more than unfounded speculation.

< update >

TheRedUnderURBed beat me to posting the same statement that you conveniently forgot to include from the story at your own link:

"At the direction of the President-elect, a review of Transition staff contacts with Governor Blagojevich and his office has been conducted and completed and is ready for release. That review affirmed the public statements of the President-elect that he had no contact with the governor or his staff, and that the President-elect's staff was not involved in inappropriate discussions with the governor or his staff over the selection of his successor as US Senator.

"Also at the President-elect's direction, Gregory [Craig], counsel to the Transition, has kept the US Attorney's office informed of this fact-gathering process in order to ensure our full cooperation with the investigation.

"In the course of those discussions, the US Attorney's office requested the public release of the Transition review be deferred until the week of December 22, in order not to impede their investigation of the governor. The Transition has agreed to this revised timetable for release."

If you were looking to discredit anyone, you succeeded admirably in doing it to yourself.

Which the media also pointed out was a time when no one would be paying attention anyway.

My take on this whole thing is that Blagosukadik is a scumbag, and Obama, by proxy of course, took him out in order to insulate himself from him.

1 Down, several thousand more to go.

Without any evidence, your "take" and a dollar bill aren't enough to buy a single item in a 99 Cents Store. :p

Evidence, especially without a conviction, isn't any better than opinion in the great society that you and I live in. You would do well to remember that, Harvey.
