In the museum he knows far more about electron microscopes and spiders than any kid his age should
He is an avid photographer and not only drew up the design for his costume but then actually made it himself.

I mean he sat by himself at lunch.I think even the people who have never read 1 page of Spiderman would realize he's a geek

To be honest I only liked the first half hour of spiderman. I found it pretty boring. Even my little cousin who was 9 years old fell asleep in the movie.

No, not long division silly. We needed to see him do some integrals to truly reveal the depths of his geekiness.
