I'm currently almost finished using 3 5lb tubs of the EAS Simply Whey over a span of about 3 months. I've gained a whopping 6 pounds (sarcasm), yet my bench has gone up from 225 to 265 (repping) so I'm getting stronger but not gaining the mass I want. I had been taking 3 shakes a day, then ramped it up to 5 a day for the past 3 weeks to get rid of the stuff... I wasn't gaining any weight at all with the 3 shakes a day, but with the 5 I gained most of the weight... I think this is because the EAS shakes use half whey concentrate, which is stuff they use in
cake mix!!
I might order some more of this stuff since it was so cheap (vitaglo.com) but I'm switching brands to AST's VP2 Whey Isolate which can be found
Here. It's about twice the price of the EAS but you get what you pay for. The official description can be found
Here. I have a buddy who's on it and he's noticed results within the first month... Keep in mind, when taking any Whey Protein be sure to employ the "bracketing" method. This means u take a shake before your workout, and another within 45 minutes after your workout. I take these 2 with water, and not milk, for maximum absorption. If you need more information on powerlifting workouts or whey questions, feel free to PM me.
