I really don't like bong coolers.
The rate of evap and the spike in humidity is a big no no on steel pc parts.
Well -- you live about 60 miles from here -- you know how dry it can get -- especially out here nearer the desert.
That was an essential aspect that put me off even considering it after a while. Now I run some web-searches, and I find the "bong community" arguing that these drawbacks are mostly myth. They're saying that the increase in household humidity is hardly noticeable. Of course, if you could run the hoses out of the house to a covered patio in So-Cal, hopefully the increase in chilling efficiency would overcome any drawbacks with the length of the hoses.

What you could do is make a traditional loop and have the parts going to the radiator use quick disconnects. Then, build your exotic setup with the disconnects as well, making it easy to switch between.
The motto when I was in basic training was "clean this, fold that, and ON YOUR FACE!". >_>
May have depended on branch of service, or OTS versus enlisted.
You would've been outraged at the difference in the cafeterias between Medina Annex and Lackland mainside. At Medina, you'd think you'd died and gone to Chef Emeril-Legasse-Heaven: You could put two thick Porterhouse steaks on your plate for breakfast with everything else. At Lackland mainside for lunch, "spaghetti" meant waterlogged noodles with what seemed like ketchup mixed with water -- mostly water.
But even the steaks for breakfast was more like a nightmare. You could pile your plate high, but you had fifteen minutes to wolf it down. Period. Or maybe it was ten minutes.
But that was 45 years ago. Hopefully things changed for the better. I wouldn't know. I think we'd both agree, though. I didn't like any of it. Despite the porterhouse steaks . . .
