They never tried to commit it though. Their crime is talking about it, and then showing up at a house. The intent is assumed.
Which is normal for "intent" its a judgement call.

Not sure but I seen plenty of teachers,Lawyers and even a Doctor go down on that show. 😉
Sheesh I didn't think it was that graphic, you would have thought they would stop it before it got that far 😀.
I didn't know it was against the law to "plan" to murder someone. What is the charge? I know it's against the law to solicit another person to commit murder though, which of course would be a murder planned but not yet carried out.
Not just help but offers inducement to commit a crime that otherwise the person was not likely to commit.Entrapment is when the cop offers to help the suspect commit a crime.

Hey Perry Mason, it's called "conspiracy" to commit a crime..
.The essence of conspiracy is the agreement between two or more persons. A single person acting alone cannot be guilty of conspiracy.
I'm pretty sure they let the first season go without arrests and after that they arrested and prosecuted them. I'm also pretty sure the decoys were in fact underage. The ones hat led them into the room.
Thinking gay sex is disgusting is not bigotry.
False...additionally, the decoys don't initiate the sexual conversations. <--- seen every episode about 10x
False...
"Although Perverted-Justice volunteers wait for the suspect to initiate contact, former Dateline anchor Stone Phillips concedes that "... in many cases, the decoy is the first to bring up the subject of sex." Phillips defends this, saying that "... once the hook is baited, the fish jump and run with it like you wouldn't believe." -- To Catch a Predator
If you think they are showing you everything that goes on behind the scenes, you're really naive. I actually remember one episode where the decoy initiated the subject of sex, saying something like "So...do you like sex?" or "Are you experienced?" or something to that effect.

It's not entrapment when the predator is the one to suggest meeting.
Still they are ugly lonely dudes. And this chick is basically like 'hey come bang me, I totally want to get banged!". Totally willingly. A lot of girls are having sex by that age.
Not that I'm saying it's ok for them to show up. It's pretty screwed up. But man to have to register for a sex offender, go to jail, be humiliated on TV and your life ruined forever. For some chick asking for it. That's rough. A normal real girl would have just clicked off the window or stopped looking at him before he even jacked off and it would have been done and over. Not be like 'hey hot come bang me!'. It's not like they stalked, coerced, and lied for months. Then raped them or something.
Not that I agree with what they did. Just saying.
