I'm gonna have to side with Ronstang for the most part and it's not "just" paw prints, sometimes a cat will extend it'd claws when jumping on a car, damaging the paint. The slick surface can instinctively have them extend the claws looking for traction, I'm not anti cat at all but if you own one (or a dog) keep it inside please, having feral cats roam around fucking and fighting all night is a nuisance to your neighbors..

He's yours...just don't let him outside. Problem solved, plus no fleas, no diseases (FIV is a bitch). I have 4 cats who live in my garage and they aren't allowed outside (yes, I have lost my ability to park in my nice warm garage for 3 years now, in freaking INDIANA), and another one who occupies a spare bedroom (he's one badass cat, he can't get along with my garage cats, or my house dogs)...he never goes outside either.

Unless they pissed in your air vents which would be unlikely, hardly anything outside a vehicle is porous.

My dad dad had cages filled with competition pigeons. He use to poison the cats by the dozens. In fact he would have poisoned us as well if we were messing with the pigeons
