Of course it's good, AMD warrantties their processors only with their retail heatsync and fan! It's not super temps, but certainly not bad.
I run two 2200+ systems (TBred) with retail HSFs they never pass 44C even under load (standard Antec 630SXII cases [no extra fans]...room temp ~18-20C).Originally posted by: Justorq
Is the retail heatsink that comes packaged with the Athlon XP 2000+ Thoroughbred (B) any good ? I mean does it cool adequately (~40C)?
Does it make a lot of noise ? I'm not ready to pay much for an aftermarket heatsink so I really want to know about this...
Thx in advance

clever idea..use retail heatsink and a 60 to 80 adapter w/ a Sunon,YSTech, etc. 😉 ..as always YMMV 🙂Originally posted by: Justorq
